I would see if he likes some of the braided rope toys. If he does they will clean his teeth, too. The poor guy is teething. Does he have any other puppies to play with? He will romp and run with a puppy he likes. They will chew on each other's fur, make ferocious puppy noises and exhaust themselves and the great benefit is your dog will be socialized with some dogs.
Your description could have been my first corgi. I live in the city, and when I started arranging playtimes for him with other dogs in the neighborhood, his need to chew diminished. When I got my 2nd corgi 11 months later, there was no problem at all. He chewed on and mock-battled with his older brother.
Yeah, he seems to really like the braided rope that I got him and that seems to have lasted the longest... but he does go a little crazy chewing on that (he'll bite onto it and start shaking his head like crazy! :O) He likes to play with the giant samoyed that's in the same socialization class and we go to that once a week. Other than that, I'll go for a run with him or have him do come commands from one side of the yard to the other (the trainer told me it's a great way to tire him out but I don't know who's more tired afterwards! LOL)
I'll try and find more friends he can play with but I find that people who have dogs on my block tend to 'use' their dogs as guard dogs more than anything (ie leave them outside all the time and they bark like crazy whenever we walk by).
Kongs stuffed with a bit of peanut butter (you can freeze them too)
Antlers (I buy mine on etsy usually, they're cheaper than the pet store)
Toys with "chew guard" might work, I have a bear like this and it's lasted a long time.

Yak cheese - my guys love these but they can go kind of fast depending on how much your dog likes them.

We have one of these balls from Planet Dog too, Henry absolutely loves it and it's pretty heavy duty.

A good marrow bone will keep him busy for hours :) It will clean his teeth as well. It may be too rich with the marrow so you can remove some.
As for store bought toys, the kong is the only toy that has held up in this house plus a few of Mickeys precious soft toys which he carefully guards so no one else will chew! He is a licker but the others are chewers!
