How many cortgis would you have and why? I know I'd get one or two a year if I could. They make the house happier.

As many as my pocketbook will allow -- LOL!
I think 4 would be a great number but I am held in check by my husband. So we have two plus my son's doberman. I would like a cardigan too. Oh well maybe someday!
I have 2 corgi's and 1 lab-mix pup and am content with my little tri-fecta!!!!! 3 pups are just perfect for me and my household=)
I would go with 3, a sable, tri and a cardigan!!!
I would love to have 3-4 dogs but I am open to more. It is the cost of care that I would have to figure out. I have the love and the patients, it is just the vet and of course I would want to own my own house. I have a tri cardi and a brindle corgi mutt. I would Love a blue merle, and I have fallen inlove with fluffs, so I would love another fluff of some kind. I will probably end up with another corgi mutt, it is hard to find a pure bred dog in my area in rescue. They are rare and get adopted quickly.
I wouldn't mind getting a cardigan for the fun of having both breeds of corgi. But I wouldn't get another corgi. I'm perfectly happy with just one :)
I have corgi # 6 ordered for next year! Yes I'm crazy...and yes it takes alot of time, commitment, cleaning training and $$$$. We have the acres and a large house BUT I think our Aussie will need to move outside (he'd rather be out)! I have to get up 45 min. earlier the days I work just to do doggie duty and that's with having everything set out the night before! You have to hire someone if you want to go away since you can't take too many with you! I'm not complaining I'm just stating the facts and I wouldn't change a thing. The money not only means descent food but yes all their shots ,heartworm pills, spay/neuter sometimes.treatment for an emergency or anything else that might come up and my dogs are young and in good shape.Don't forget the time and commitment to classes and after the classes the socialization and continual training. So I did get a Corgis every year for 5 years but I will be at my limit with 6. I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING...CORGIS ARE MY LIFE1
I can so relate to you Jane!
I'd like three, but don't tell my husband that!

Honestly I'm torn; with two it's still very manageable to take them out and about. For example, we were just over the park and a woman we know from walking whose Golden is a TDI dog too was there throwing a ball, and said a bunch of them meet every evening at around 6:30 to play ball with the dogs. What fun! With two I can still keep an eye on them both, but would I be able to with three? I'm not sure.

However, mine are 2.5 and nearly 5, and I have a feeling that in another 4 years or so I'll be jonesing for a puppy again. Now that my two are starting to be friends, it's really a blast watching the dog-to-dog interactions. I think more would be even better. :-) But for now I'm ok with two.
I have two and an aussie. The breeder told me the other day she has two more litters, one full sibs of KC the other sibs of Taz. I would like one more at least. But I have a red/white and a sable so would like a tri. Some day in the future I want a cardi
I would like to get another corgi, but that'll have to wait until I move out of my mom's house in a couple of years, cause my mom doesn't want more than two dogs at a time, and I already have two. But then, I also want another Aussie Shepherd mix -- my boy died in April, and he was an Aussie mix, and I miss my big ball of fluff and fur and I really want another one.
We have six now...Its working for us, but it is a bit crazy...just kept adding rescues that couldn't find homes. Love them all and couldn't imagine life without any of them! I think two is a great number. They travel well together and no one gets left out.
