Do the people you associate with or come in contact with pass? What kind of warning signs have you received from your Corgi?

Oh yes...my Wynn does this but he only lets me know if they "fail"... he was 6 months old the 1st time and at a Renissance(sp) Festival so there were thousands of people there and this man came hurrying past us and Wynn started barking and growling and throwing a major fit...I didn't know at the time why and will never know about this guy but Wynn picks up something...I work in the mental health field and I have seen him let me know when he's uncomfortable around people I work with...I believe he can tell when someone is having hallucinations... call this weird but ... I had 1 client in particular that had severe problems and Wynn would alert me every time...with a quite growl and would leave the area...I totally trust his judgement with this...sound weird...I guess but he definatly knows when something is up and that he doesn't like some people...this happens in general too not just at work...he's a big lover boy if he likes a person!
not surprising, as you probably know, they have found that many dogs can sense seizures and insulin problems. Just another way that they send us secret messages.
Yes we have met a few folks that Leo and Randy too actually did not like. When Leo smelled this one person and stared at his face because of no response ( positive or negative) I knew this was not a friend. They sense more than we will ever know.
Midas has certain people he will growl or throw a huge fit about. I love it because if that is a person with bad intentions Midas is not only giving me a big warning sign but he is also letting them know he sees them and they need to back off. I trust his judgement completely. If he doesn't like somebody, I'm not going to question it and chance who knows what.
So far Kari has only done this to one person so far and I'd have to say, I agreed with her. Dogs still remember how to be perceptive in ways that we've forgotten.
At our house the corgis like everyone and the doberman doesn't like anyone until she has been properly introduced!! I guess I am on my own for the sniff test!!
Mickey sniffs everything! But also loves everyone and everything.... so innocent..
Al & Gwynnie just LOVE my old climbing pal because after a few days out in the mountains, his socks could be (and have been) mistaken for a dead mouse. The way to a dog's heart is through its nose. :)
Potus has only done it twice. Once we were walking past a house and a man came out. he was walking to his car which was parked on the street and we all reached the driveway at the same time. Well, Potus started growling and making a fuss. The guy hadn't really looked at us. I thought it was quite funny as he'd never done anything like that before.
Then the other day an old man was walking behind us and we were walking SLOW because *someone* had to sniff EVERYTHING, so the old man cauht up to us. Potus did not like having someone behind him. But the old man said hello and patted him and Potus was fine with him. Maybe he judged a little too quick :)

My uncles staffy has done this too. A friend of my uncles had a dog that Legde, my uncle's staffy HATED. Now that dog has died but everytime the man comes around Ledge goes psycho. He definitely remembers that he was the owner of this dog.
