Hello all,, glad to see this kind of group on here.  Would love to compare notes on bringing up baby.  I'm a first time dog owner and am in love with my Oliver. We chose a Pembroke because my sister owned them when she was younger and I thought they were such great dogs!    Oliver was born on June 9th of this year and so we are approaching his 5th month.  Does anybody have a pup who snarls while playing,  Not growls, just makes a funny piggy snarly sound.  My husband and I have thought about nick naming him "Snarls Barkley!"    We also got a new kitten at the same time.  He's a long haired tiger named "Jeter."  The two love to play together and I see there is a separate group for Corgi and kitty owners.  How is the potty training coming along with the group's pups?

Lucy is approaching her 6 months mark (yay!) and a few students of mine wish to throw her a party. I never would have imagined myself the kind of person who would throw their dog a birthday party until I got Lucy! So my question is: does anyone have any good (hopefully easy) recipes for a doggy birthday "cake"? I don't have a canine bakery in my area so thought I might try to make something. I will of course have appropriate cake for the humans attending!

Hi everyone, just found your group and one of Levi's litter mates, Harley and owner Rhonda are already members I see!!!  Here is the latest photo of Levi at 15 weeks! Also a photo of him playing with the neighbor's dog!  He is from Carlins Kennels in Zebulon, NC  Great Quality dogs!!!

I'm registering Alistair for a therapy dog class in NYC.  I'm so excited.  I know he's going to love it!  He really needs some focus too.  I think he gets bored with the daily routine and this will give him something to "think about."

This is our baby King Leonidas at 8 weeks when we brought him home. He is now almost five months old and growing up so fast!
