So I let Corky out this a.m. for his usual biz and he took a long time, bad sign! Then this strangely familiar black feces encrusted little dog with short legs that seemed to know me quite well wanted to come in my house! His english setter sister found him very attractive and charming in his new dung garb. I screamed EEEEEWWWWW what is that horrible stench, and he backed away from the door hesitated and raced to the next patio door. "I think he heard in my voice" you are headed for the dunk tank!" hoping he might get a better welcome a the next door. But alas for him he was scooped up and de-turded. what a gross way to staart the morning!

I guess I will count my lucky stars that Sonny only decides to eat plants and vegies in the garden and the spent bird seed. He still plays Houdini when eating the bird seed. Maybe Rafa needs more food HAHAHA!! Lucky is out in timeout barking up a storm at the drunk robins (eating the juniper berries) who are pooping all over the patio, covered porch and the windows! Sure glad our neighbors are not close. (timeout because Mr PeePee peed allover the house.) It's cold out, and I know it isn't good for him, but I just cannot take anymore PEEEEE

speaking of boots, there was one time he actualy chewed somthing he wasnt supoose to(he is the best puppy i have known) he knew what to and what not to. not sure how but anyways arthur was in the shower and needed a towel. i left for like 15seconds cuz he always asked what was for dinner i see teddy chewing on my husbands military work boots. they just issued him these...needless to say he wasnt happy and teddy was so shocked when i took it and said NO. he went into his caged and i left him. arthur was like "u were gone for like 15 seconds! how did he do that?!" all i can say was when it comes to pups, keep an eye on them at all times!! he has never touched those boots or go near them at all. arthur can never wear them but now we look back and laugh. he was only 13weeks:)

By 10am today Rafa already ate a nice size piece of my carpet and then moved on to munch on the sofa. He's presently in time out. Photos to follow. I'm in for a day. I can tell...

@Edie - Nice to know that these mischievous puppies eventually settle down! It gives me hope as I often asked myself wondering "what was I thinking?!@#%"

I have to report that as Morna nears her 2nd birthday, she has calmed down quite a bit. She is still as full of energy and fast as lightening, BUT it is usually not directed to mischief. This is happening just as I'm thinking "What the **** did I get myself into?...will my house ever be the same?" She has single handedly ruined most of my living room furniture; chewed the side flap from a Pennsylvania House sofa, likes to lie on the top of the back and so has pulled the fabric from the back rest away from where it joined the attached pillow. (This was accompanied by tufts of pillow stuffing from time to time). She chewed the corner off of the base of our entertainment center which wasn't really cheap either. So far, she has not touched the recliner or the other sofa. AND I am thinking that with the time that has passed (about 2 months now) that she has realized that chewing the furnishings didn't get her any rewards or that she doesn't have the need to chew so much any more.

Good to see some more pics of corgi mischief - I missed them when the board was quiet for a while!

No pics of Addy's mischief lately - she has actually been relatively good! (I know, hard to believe.) The worst she's done recently was today, when she got a hold of my Grandad's brand new New Balance shoes - but she didn't tear them up like normal - she just chewed off the ends of the shoelaces! That's awfully self-controlled for her.

Oh, Wendy! We've been gone and have come back to read all about Rafa's behavior! I couldn't believe the picture of Lucy drinking the beer, though, she is usually the good child, maybe she just needed a beer like you and Jack! I agreee, after emailing with you for so long, Rafa could use the Doggie Downers!!! Good Luck - he is adorable when asleep, you have to admit it!!

Hehe, I bet Rafa is tired. You really have your hands full with that one!

I've gotten used to listening for Sidney gnawing on something he shouldn't. Just a few minutes ago I heard that "crunch crunch" sound, groaned and said "Sid, what do you have NOW?". I looked and saw he actually had one of his marrow bones! Ha, he fooled me!

After too many crimes today to count, Rafa is finally tired! Shhh. Let's let him nap.
