lol Ohhhhhhhh that is funny and so familar to my household, I do not mean to laugh at your expense and yes I have had to share simlar expenses (couch cushions, blakets, oh and a hole in my new 1 week old mattress) but if not for love and laughter I myself would have matching slippers. i do have to ask where did you get that fantastic step stool though, we have had a cpl wood ones, and in being nice have added padding and what not, only to have that eatten off cause of those edges, but your step looks great and loose end free :)

This blanket destruction was just the beginning of the day for Rafa, aka The Rafanator (credit to Doug). Then aka The Terrierist (credit to John Wolff) chewed out the TV/Stereo wiring encasement (thankfully not the actual wiring or he'd be a corgiburger). The rest of the day was a blur of corgi madness (and he doesn't even do drugs, except Bach's Rescue Remedy). The final straw was when he was lying on my lap and I was whispering sweet nothings in his ear and rubbing his belly & I noticed he was munching on the sofa!

Although usually very very sneaky our Corgis could not deny themselves the pleasure of hijacking the car on the way to the Vet and instead head to the beach.

Henry and Catherine are really enjoying the snow that we've been getting. When I call them to come inside the house they pretend to not hear me...Those turkeys! lol

Ok, he is not a corgi but we returned from our vacation to a list of things that Cheech (pictured) stole. Including several hair ties, a necklace, house keys and rubber bands too numerous to mention. Apparently while the corgis were good (Sparty relatively so), the dobe and Chong the other cat were also good for the house/pet sitter Cheech decided to dazzle her with the number of things he could run off with! Fortunately our sitter has a good sense of humor. I know he is not a corgi but Cheech doesn't realize it.

Carol, no, Rafa didn't come from me (thank goodness!). He was a Craig's List re-home pup. I get the credit/blame for pointing out the CL ad to Wendy but she took the little Rafanator in of her own volition.

I do think most pups, especially smart ones, are prone to some puppy mischief and even grown up dog mischief. It's fun to read about the antics here but it's also nice to know "our" dog isn't the only one sometimes up to no good.

And I agree with Mike & Debbie, no one on Facebook is as interesting as our Corgis here.

Mike is correct, most of us do find these antics pretty interesting! MY Mike just cannot figure out what I find so interesting, poor lost soul.

Wendy - do I understand this correctly? Did Rafa come from Doug???

Books about our silly Corgis? what an idea! Wait... what about something online like a blog... oh, yea... that's why we're all here. Don't tell anyone, but I'd pay to be able to look at all this stuff here and read the stories and comments... it's priceless (these dogs and their antics are more interesting than ANYBODY on Facebook). If anyone DOES do a book, let us know, we'll buy it.

@Doug and Gromit,

LOL...LOL...LOL. I'm packing for NY and had the blue meanies (as I always do when packing) and then I read your post about Rafa. I haven't stopped laughing. I get more mileage out of Rafa stories than all my corgis put together. Thanks again Doug for finding this craaaazy puppy for me! I owe you one.
