Freeport is west of Rockford :) The park looks really awesome, I think it'd be a great place for a picnic. Here's a link to the park

where is Freeport park? The only alternative place I can think of is the pet spa where we had our meet up in march...if that sounds good, let me know....I am sorry Christina is not up for it this year, but I am sure we can all figure out something!

Freeport is fine with me for the meetup :) I think the picnic is usually around the 3 or 4th weekend in September.

I think the picnic was supposed to be Sept. 20, but I would beg, beg, beg for the next weekend or the one before so that I could attend ! :)

The freeport park is willing to have any corgi event we would like to have out there and im willing to help organize any event so we can have our annual picnic since our fearless leader seems to be out for the year. I will be going to the park tomorrow to sit down with them to see what i can work out. Also when is the traditional date of the picnic so i can arrange that date at freeport so we can proceed with our picnic

Where is the corgi picnic hosted at? I'd love to attend any kind of a corgi meetup!!!

Well Freeport has a dog park and agility course and pond for corgi's to play in was rated one of the top 10 dog parks in 2007 by dog fancy magazine. Or Rockford has two great dog parks too
