We stayed up, Chepstow went to bed at 10:30 and Tenby was asleep on the couch until we went to bed. Happy New Year to all.

How was every one's New Years? We had a great evening with friends over for dinner and we played Wii. The dogs were very confused that we did not go to bed early like we usually do. I can not believe it is 2010! I hope this coming year brings nothing but the best for everyone.

Won't be able to leave my tree up year round cuz it is real and I can't imagine what that would look like by May Ha Ha! I'm going to wait til this weekend and get most of it put away I think, I'll save the rest to do when my kids go back to school...I always get a little sad to take it all down, but we have January b-days to look forward to here and I usually try to tackle some new project or remodel in the house if I'm not too exhausted from the Holidays. We are supposed to get some snow here today so I'm going to get out and get our snacks early at the store......I'm sorta getting sick of eating but I think I have a little more room.We usually get out the fondue pot on New Years Day and have lots of snacks the nite before, play games with kids and watch the countdown onTV... we let the kids do some Crackers(open it and there are small gifts inside) I wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!!!!

My next door neighbor leave her christmas tree up all year round, she just unplugs the lights. I was shocked when I had to enter her house for the first time in May several years ago.

They are all on a plane home! Misty is thrilled to have the couch back (seems there is not room on my large couch for a doberman and so many people). It seems very quiet and now I have to put all the toys away until July when they visit again (sigh). I am trying to decide how long I can procrastinate putting away the Christmas tree....

It rained here all Christmas day which got rid of what little snow we had. We got a little snow last night so it is pretty but it still not more than a couple inches. We have had non stop company the last couple days and I don't care if I never prepare another meal! Oops! We have people coming over for dinner on New Years! What in the blazes was I thinking??

Ooooh, thank you for your lovely snow pictures!! We are still waiting.....

Here, Edward and Gemima...you can have some of our white stuff...I think we must have gotten about 14-16 inches!

This will make our winter travel tough anytime we have wind as our driveway is over a block long!!!! Yuck!

Haha! Our New Years plans never change, but we love it. We stock up on all those freezer appetizer goodies that are sooo bad for you but taste so delicious. We tune the TV in to the Twilight Zone marathon and pull out a stack of games, and we just cozy in and enjoy each other's company. Now the the kids are almost grown, one or two of them will be out a friend's more "exciting" party, but hubby and I are content to keep the tradition going! :)

So we are calling the weather warning they had here The Great Christmas Hoax! Got almost no snow and all rain....not even that much freezing rain at that! We missed christmas eve with family in Mpls but I enjoyed it nonetheless staying home and snuggling with my corgis and my family. We are in Wisconsin at the Dells for the weekend celebrating my daughters b-day. First time away from Ed and Gem for more than a day and I am ready to see them even though we are having a blast! What's the scoop for New Years???? Anyone having a big celebration or travel plans????
