Windchills are in the teens and 20s BELOW zero! Their coats would just blow off if I were to put them on! I am thinking that Edward and Gemima have it even worse!

We got a little snow last night but then it rained! Snow is really soggy and now it is supposed to be really cold. We usually have better snow this time of year in Michigan. South of here got 14 inches last weekend but not here. Roger/Laurie you are warm now but I could not take your summer temps!

Blizzards!!!!! You make me feel so warm. We just have some rain, wind and temps in the 60's.

Yup...I hope I can't get to work due to the blizzard and almost everything is closed for Wed.! I have plenty of supplies to get the rest of my baking done! We won't get as much snow but the wind here is suppose to be 30-50 MPH! Very cold wind chills with that too! Ah, life in Minnesota!

I am being forced to get some baking done over the next day as we are in a blizzard warning now thru tomorrow nite with 16 inches of snow expected and 30-40 mph winds!!! good thing I stocked up

Copper has just experienced his first real snow! I tried to take a picture of him plowing through the snowdrifts but he is too fas for my camera. Of course one of the labs sat down and posed for me! I did get one of Copper but it is night time and the flash went off and his eyes are like a monster...so I will try to get some shots tomorrow in daylight!

I have so much baking to do and I just can get motivated. It is suppose to be cold and rainy this weekend, maybe that will get me moving.

Oops...I forgot that once they're dry I store mine in an airtight container but you can use a paper plate with a zip lock bag ! Sorry I do know how to spell pour also!

Oh it's so easy! You buy the block(24 oz.) of almond bark and I use the smaller twist pretzels. I start with half the bark and microwave it for 60 seconds then stir...you may have to do another minute or 2 but always stir or go down to 30 sec. as it can burn. I also use a bowl about the size a little larger that a cereal bowl but deeper (not large). Dip pretzel in with a fork and flip over so all is covered and set on wax paper to dry. You can also put colored sugar or sprinkles on but you need to do this while they're still warm. It actually takes awhile to dry fully (hour or so). My favorite treat is when I can't cover anymore pretzels I stir in a crushed candy cane and poor onto wax paper and I have a bit of peppermint bark!
