We smoke the turkey in the good old kettle type Weber with hickory chips. I will start cooking somethings today and I am sure I will have two extra helpers in the kitchen looking for :drops"

We're having a roasted turkey breast and all the trimmings on Thanksgiving - PLUS we are going to be babysitting a Corgi- mix puppy. It should be interesting to see how Grezky ( our little turkey) will react to a puppy. I hope there won't be any food issues beings there will be plenty around, some probably being dropped on the floor at times.

On a subject completely unrelated to food, I've just seen the cutest little Santa hat with an elastic chinstrap, and a optional matching cape. I think the antlers may be getting the boot this year!

We had baked turkey with dressing and all the trimmings! My favorite is to make turkey chow mein with the leftovers!!!!

My brother-in-law is making the turkey this year. I have no idea how he'll prepare it; it'll be a surprise!

Bought a bunch of baking supplies today! The weather is supposed to turn nasty this week, so I'll get to spend some time with the Corgis in the kitchen whipping up some tasty treats! I hear pumpkin pie and whipcream calling my name!!!
