Profile Information

About Me:
Hi! We're Chris and Alyssa, and as of January 2012, Gabrielle. We live in Central PA, looking to relocate to Pittsburgh, and are proud owners of Murphy, our wonderful Pemmy Redheaded Tri-Color. We love music, listening to it and making it, home improvement projects, landscaping and gardening, and trying to be crafty.

We also have a black cat, Stella. At first she wasn't quite sure what to make of him, but now it's totally a love/hate relationship.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Murphy was born on December 26, 2008 near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We had him flown to PA and we've had him since February 24th 2009. He's a very sweet, playful tri-color who loves learning new things. He also loves listening to Classical music, naturally, like a sir.

Alyssa & Chris W.'s Blog

Been a really long time, but I have something new to share :o)

Posted on December 7, 2011 at 9:05am 9 Comments

I'm not the greatest at keeping up with things on here. I know it's been a really long time since I posted last. I guess Murphy and I have just been having too much fun. He will be 3 years old the day after Christmas and still as rowdy as ever. Life would be so boring without him though, he keeps us on our toes for sure. I should also mention that we are adding a new family member in the near future. Chris and I have decided to enter the world of parenthood so Murphy will be a big brother.…

Not so great at updating as much as I should, but an update of the Murphster anyway

Murphy is doing great. He still chases Stella though. I would have thought that she would have been old news to him by now, but such is not the case. Everyday he rips through the house, trying to get her, but she's too fast for him. I think she brings it on herself most of the time, she taunts him by making cute, pathetic sounds even when he's not around her. We say…

New job

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 9:24am 4 Comments

I've been employed now for a month and Murphy has been doing wonderful by himself for the three hours that I'm gone. I'm glad that I only work as little as I do. Its been really great making a little money and still have the time to run errands, do things around the house, have dinner ready or at least started by the time Chris gets home and of course play with Murphy and take him for a walk. Its been so convenient and Chris likes it too even though I'm not making much, every little bit…

Dog of the day on The Daily Corgi

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 10:30am 1 Comment

On Monday September 27th, Murphy was the dog of the day on the blog The Daily Corgi. We were beaming with pride. I told the writer about him months ago and we had talked of getting him on her blog and into the daily Corgi calendar which he will now be featured in as well. She did a nice little write up of Murph for the blog and I'm very proud of it. We have it saved on the computer and it will probably get put into his scrapbook once I start making one for him and Stella. Here is the link… Continue

Falling into autumn

Posted on September 12, 2010 at 1:02pm 3 Comments

Been awhile since I posted last so I just thought I'd share with what's been going on around here. Nothing new has really been happening. Murphy is still amazing. He's such a sweet boy and I can't imagine my life without him. Fall is coming and I'm excited to get him into the leaves again this year. I'm really excited for it to get here. We're still strongly thinking about getting another pup once we are able to. Although sometimes I think one is enough, but I do think Murphy would love having… Continue

We had a nice small Christmas with family after such a rough year, but that's all that's important.  London got spoiled as well.  Unfortunately Jan 7th I found myself unemployed once again & my mother's health seems to be declining once again, 2011 doesn't look promising already.

Hello small world, thanks for saying hello and great photos as well!  We're in Elimsport but same difference & zipcode.  How long have you lived in the area?  I am native to the area minus 11 years away 95-06.  We hope you had a nice xmas & new years!  2010 wasn't a great year for us so we're hoping 2011 is a much needed break!  Happy New Year & Peace!

I definately feel like I have made up lately with all the videos I have taken over time..Im up to 25 videos :O When I checked that one day, I was really surprised I had that many videos!! I have always taken tons of pics, I must be in the millions by now. I had a huge stack of pictures sitting on my computer desk of just lance and my sister was making fun of me for how many pics i had of lance and not my family....oops...lol

At least he doesnt talk back when I take his photo, and if he does I can always bribe him with a little goodie.....lol. Hes a pro at taking pictures now though, I wonder why?? hmmm

Hi guys. Thanks for writing. Were all well here. Max is loving the snow too. Have you seen my video on here of him bouncing through the deep snow, it's funny. Max IS a big boy. He weighs 32 lbs. He hit that weight. At about a year old and stayed that way. His whole structure just seems bigger than a lot of corgis. He was the alpha male in his litter. Tammy & her husband called him tubby before they sent him of to us. She said her husband was pretty attached to him . I will try to get video of max talking, I've always wanted to but he doesn't like cameras so ihave to be sneaky. I swear he said "google" the other day haha. Take care & tell Murphy hi from his big brother.

Hey Guys! How are you all? Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you! I can't believe Murphy is already a year old. Did you see that he has new brothers and sisters? New litter about 5 or 6 weeks old now, so cute! How is Murphy doing? His little girlfriend, Carmen, looks kind of like Max's sable coloring. Max is doing well. He turned 2 in Oct. He has turned out to be such a sweet little guy, and soooo funny! I can't believe how vocal he is. I swear the other day he said "eggnog" haha. Hope you are all doing well, take care.

Thanks for the picture comment. I like that pix too. Sooner is very apprehensive so he just may have been asking Blizzard what he planned to do. =)

Thank you for the friend request! We are not too far away. Maybe one day we can arrange a northeast/central PA Corgi meetup! Jack would love that. I'm not so sure about our new girl, Madison; she's a lot more reserved at this point.
