How can I break my corgi from sleeping in my bed with me at night !!!!
My Daisy girl has slept in bed with me at night since I first got her and now that she is close to full grown she has become quite the bed hog and now I can't get a good nihgts sleep any more...any suggestions to how I can break her from sleeping with me in my bed at night...

Teach her OFF and when she jumps up in bed say OFF and keep it up she will get it that you don"t want her up there

You'll lose even more sleep for a few nights, but keep telling her "Off" or "Down" (or whatever word you want to use to make her get off of the bed) whenever she hops up and make her get back down. You have to be consistent, though, so no giving in to those pitiful puppy-dog eyes!
She'll probably be stubborn about it since she's so used to sleeping there, but she'll eventually get the message. Just make sure you have a comfy doggy bed (or pile of blankets, which is what my Yuki prefers) so that she has a place of her own to sleep in.

Mine too! We used to have a newfoundland, corgi mix, and a springer spaniel/golden retriever mix, and my 6'3" husband....

Yep, a king size bed works wonders. Oppy generally sleeps near my wife's feet, but occasionally he sneaks up in between us. Honestly our pug is more of a bed hog than our corgi.

well her birthday is a little over a week away so momma did a little shoppin today and got her a huge dog bed/pillow and she loves it... and its big enough that she can strech out all the way across it

Why would you want to do that? Al sleeps on the foot of the bed, doesn't get in the way at all. Gwynn joins us just prior to dawn, but she's totally unobtrusive and welcome anytime.

well because she has to be right next to me and she is a big girl now so i think she can sleep in her onw bed next to mine.

So people thought I was terrible when we first got Zoey for making her sleep in a kennel instead of in bed. As much as I would love to cuddle up to my corgis and let them sleep in bed with me, we already have the cat that sleeps in bed, then if we added max (because he wants to be where zoey is) and her, then my huge 6'4" fiance even in our cali king just isn't comfortable. It was really hard for about 3 or 4 nights. But now its her little home. She plays in it when she doesn't feel like playing with the other animals and she goes to sleep in her bed thats in it whether its bed time or if she just wants to take a nap in the middle of the day she wanders into the bedroom to her kennel and curls up and goes to sleep. We don't even close the door anymore. She doesn't potty in it and she has all her favorite toys and chew toys to keep her occupied. It makes her feel safe and is honestly probably the best choice I could have made starting her out. Its so much easier on me especially if we travel. I don't have to worry about her and she loves it. Maybe if you just make Daisy a place of her own right next to your bed you wont have a problem. Give her things that make her comfortable and her most favorite toys to keep her busy. Zoey has a stuffed christmas dog that our elderly neightbors passed down to her when their dog died that she loves to sleep with. I would try giving her a blanket or a pillowcase that has your scent on it. Then if she tries to get up tell her down and if she sits on the floor and whimpers it always helps to drop down a reassuring hand =)
