He will be just fine. Corgis are all weather dogs. Their double coat will protect him in the summer from the heat and the winter from the cold. We live in northern Iowa and it gets COLD!!!! The dogs have no problem. I just don't leave them outside for long periods of time when it's -30 degrees. We have gone to GA the last 3 years for Jan and Feb and the change in temp doesn't bother them at all. He doesn't need a jacket to keep him warm. Use a little common sense about the length of time he is outside, dry off his feet when he comes in and you will be fine. You will worry more about it than he. Rosie and Rocky love running in the snow and plowing paths!!

He will be good. No need to worry. But it is nice to know that you are concerned.

He'll be fine, I wouldn't worry. Corgis are very weather resistant.

he will be ok:) since teddy was born we have moved 4times( so a year and half) he loves it when we move to a new place. new sights and smells. his and mine was DC. but when we lived in SC (his birth place) we decided to come home for Christmas, which was in Michigan. SC around that time was usually in the 70s so when we went farther north and seen snow for the first time he was very surprised but loved the weather change. he loved Mi so much he didnt want to leave. i believe it was the snow he loved so much :)

although i will say in DC when we finally got snow, it was so cold that his feet bleed so i did get him some booties. once he got use to the cold though he was fine and enjoyed it very much

i forgot to mention that we moved so much because my husband is in the military:)
I moved from Nevada to Minnesota last year and my corgi thrived! She actually liked the colder weather and snow better than the warmer weather! Lola has a blast in the snow!
It will be a change, but Wyoming is probably a lot more like Wales than Arizona. The weather that seems to bother Al & Gwynn the most is summer heat -- in the Pacific Northwest -- when it hits a blistering 75 F., I have to bury them in mountain snow and make a pupsicle.
Mine go out and roll and play in snow so don't worry too much. They are all weather pups!
What part of Wyoming are you moving to.
I'd worry much more about a corgi in Arizona than Wyoming! :) Edison is happiest when the weather is below 60F, and doesn't seem to notice the cold until it is below 0F. However, one thing you may want to watch out for in colder climates is road salt; if you walk your corgi (or any dog) out on roads that have been salted for ice, they can get salt burn on their paws. So you may want to buy your little guy some booties for salted roads, but otherwise, he'll be fine.

And if you have any worries about corgis in the snow, go search YouTube for "corgis" and "snow". I've never seen such a snow-loving breed, excepting possibly huskies. :)
