Algernon 1998 - 2010

After a short stuggle with lymphoma, Algy finally lost the battle this morning. We knew this day would come, I just didn't think it would be today. To make it worse, my father, whom Algy absolutely adored and was his 'daddy', couldn't be there to say goodbye. I think I'll be crying for a while.

May you be at peace now Algy, we love you and miss you. You were a good boy and a special corgi, and that's all that anyone could ever ask.

I don't think that there is anything worse than the loss of a very special friend. This feeling of loss will be with you for quite some time. I hope you have another special friend to help you cope during this time of need. Be thankful for the happy memories you will always have. God bless

there are no words for the sadness this brings...we lost our No 1 corgi 2 years ago to cancer and I still cry and miss him terribly, even though we have 2 other wonderful dogs to share our life. He was our heart dog, if you know what I mean.

Algy is worth your tears so don't be reluctant to cry.

A big Arooooooo will go out for Algy, who now waits at the bridge for you. I'm sure that lots of corgis met him at the bridge and showed him all the best places for a corgi. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time.
