Stomach is acting weird

Charlie is almost 10 months and I have been feeding him Blue Buffalo Chicken & Rice puppy food. I used to feel him nutromax but that made his stool runny so I changed it. I've been feeding him blue buffalo and when I Take him out he goes 2 times, once normal but the second time a little watery. I've read to add some cottage cheese in his food but nothing changed. Should I change his food again? If so what's a good brand?

I would just change him over to an adult food.

I agree to switching to all life stages or adult food BUT very slowly if his tummy is already upset it may/maynot be the perfect time!

Jack always had his second or third stools on a walk get kinda runny. We switched from a chicken-based food to lamb and that fixed the problem.

I thought it was weird that Charlie goes twice or even three times on a walk! Good to know that he's not the only one.

he could have intolerance to chicken. i would switch like the others have said but try a different formula but do it very very slowly. what i have done in the past when teddys tummy was sick was start out with just a table spoon on the first day of switching him over to the new food and then work your way up. it took me almost 2weeks to switch over but i never had a problem since it was enough time to switch over with out upsetting his tummy again

Yep, that's how I do it, a tablespoon at a time for two weeks. When I get to half-and-half, I keep it at that ratio for a few days.

Try the BB Lamb & Rice. I have both of my boys on that.

Also I believe it's pumpkin you want to add to his food to firm up his stools; I'm not sure about cottage cheese. Make sure it's the regular plain canned pumpkin, not the stuff with spices added to it.

I think the extra protein and fat in the puppy formula might have something to do with it though. They make an adult version of that same flavor so it shouldn't be too hard on his tummy to transition over if you wanted to keep him on that same food.
