For those with multiple Corgis: Do people ask if yours are siblings?

I'm just curious here. Whenever we walk ours, inevitably someone asks us if they are brother and sister. It doesn't bother me, but I find it a bit amusing. Of course to me they don't look all that much alike, but I live with them! We say Maddie is Jack's aunt, which is not quite true but close enough: Jack's mother's name is Roxy. Roxy and Maddie have the same sire, and Roxy and Maddie's dams are full sisters.

I guess it's funny because my mind does not work that way. I have frequently seen people with two of the same breed (owners of beagles, pugs, and labrador retrievers especially seem to not stray from "their" breed) and I suppose I just never assumed they were related.

I don't remember being asked this. I don't ever think of asking this either. Maybe I would if they were both pups looking about the same age!
Yes, the question was asked all the time. As it happens, mine are half related, same dad but different litter. Everybody are very satisfied with their observation. for me, I actually don't think they look alike at all. but it seems the natural way of thought when people see two dogs in the same breed.

Once we were with the dogs in Taco Bell drive through, the lady who hand us the food and asked: Are they brother and sister or they are lovers? that is one unique question we ever countered.
Good question!
someone once asked that of my non-fur brother and me. It was pretty weird. "Are you brother and sister or boyfriend and girlfriend?" If that wasn't bad enough, my brother replied glibly, "Both!"
lmao!!!
that is awesome!
We get asked that all the time and they look nothing alike. I am sure Izzy's breeder would be offended since Sparty is pretty far from show quality. The flip side is sometimes people ask if they are the same breed because Sparty is a tri and usually people only see the red and whites. That would not be a question I would think to ask either but we just enjoy talking to people so it is OK.
We enjoy talking to people, and especially about the dogs, so we don't mind either! It's funny that some people think they are related and others think they aren't even the same breed. It just goes to show how differently people look at the world, I guess.
It is obvious that my two dogs are not siblings, but I call them brother sister. Ever now and then someone will look suprised and ask how they are related. I inform them that they are adopted, but my dogs dont know it. It is usually a good laugh.
Rosie is red and white and Rocky is a tri. I get asked if they are twins!! They are actually half siblings-same sire.
Yes, twins is the other word people use a lot! Maddie is a red-headed tri with a huge black saddle, and Jack is red and white. They both have similar blazes on their face. But the "twins" term makes me chuckle a bit because of course that's not how it works with dog litters!
We have a tri and a sable, we pretend they are bro and sis even tho they are not!!
