I really wish we could fast forward the next two weeks and have Lance back to feeling 100 percent again.

His ears are really red and sore, feel so bad, just want to make it go away now!!  He is on Clavamox, benedryl and ear ointment for two weeks, just seems like a long time to be on an antibiotic and benedryl.  If he needs it, he needs it, but I am not one for taking meds unless its a necessity.

UPDATE:  I just noticed the inside of Lances left ears is a bit swollen.  I called the vets office and the vet tech said it sounds like an ear hemotoma, where the blood and fluids build up from shaking the ears when having an ear infection.  So, on Friday afternoon, he will go in to get it drained and hopefully that will do the trick as I was told sometimes they can reappear.  :(

Aww.  :(  He should be feeling better sooner than two weeks, just the same as a person feels better before the end of a round of medication.  Hopefully he'll be getting better within a week or so.
Thanks!!  I sure hope so, just to look at his bright ears looks painful.  :(
Antibiotics need to be taken even after he shows improvement so be sure to follow the vet's instructions. Hope he feels better soon!

Yes, I will follow the vets instructions, definately want him feeling like himself again, this just isn't any fun.  I've never seen his ears so red from an allergy before!!  Thanks Bev!!

aww poor guy! i sure hope he feels better soon. im sure after a week he will feel a lot better
aw poor Lance I know how he feels poor guy i also have allergies and poor Zeus does too his eyes are constantly watery I had to take him to the vet also and get some special antibiotic drops :( I hope Lance feels better real soon he is too cute to be sick :)
Poor thing! I hope Lance will get well soon.
Poor Lance. I hope he feels better soon. Noodles has a slight case of allergies in that his eyes are watery/goopy. Our poor puppies...
Get well soon Lance!
How is Lance feeling????

He seems tired, but I am thinking that is from the benedryl he is on.  He will play and fetch the ball and he still has an appetite, so that is good news.  I think his ears are getting better, its hard to tell, one minute they look a little less red and then the next they look the same as they did before.  He doesnt have a temp.

I am starting to wonder if it could be a yeast infection?  Lance has had allergies to food before but never showed up in the ears, was always his paw.   Thanks for asking :)

Thanks Everyone :)
