Just thought this would be a fun discussion.  Also a good opportunity for input.  I have read a lot on here about feeding your corgi carrots and green beans, but what other fruits/veggies are good for them?  Are there things they should definitely NOT eat?  We discovered yesterday that Frosty likes apple peels and raw potatoes (only let him have a very small amount of that cause its so starchy).  As a matter of fact, I don't think we've come across anything yet that Frosty won't eat.  What crazy things does your corgi eat and do you have any recommendations for healthy treats?  Frosty eats and eats and eats, but never gains weight.  He is always starving, so I'd like to give him healthy things so he doesn't turn into a chunky butt when his metabolism slows down.

Have not found anything yet that Sparty won't eat and he is almost 12. I used to coat his pills in cheese until I dropped one and he gobbled it up before I could get it. He does not eat anything that is not food unless you count wild animal poop! Stay away from grapes, raisins,(they are very bad) and potato peels may upset the tummy. Izzy is a little more picky but does love dried worms.
Apples are ok but apple cores (seeds) are very bad (I think they contain cyanide or some such thing).

Pumpkin is very popular with my dogs, as is plain yogurt or cottage cheese (low-fat). They also like Cheerios and plain unflavored rice cakes ( like to throw some of those in their food if they have gotten into something they shouldn't eat and are only getting a couple tablespoons of kibble for dinnner).
When we go hiking, Ginny likes to eat the grass along the trail. I often think she's part cow or part goat. She doesn't eat grass in the yard, so the wild shrubbery must be extra delicious. It doesn't make her sick, I just think she likes to think she is livin' in the wild, eating the grass, exploring the wilderness and poopin' in the forest just like the "wild corgis" did...
My dogs love grass. As for more people type veggies/fruits...they love broccoli and apples! I figure most veggies and fruits (not grapes, raisins or onions) are ok in moderation and to fill in if more food is wanted! Cheerios make great training treats. Popcorn is another great one and once they learn to catch it they really don't get as much as it might look.

I have 2 goats and they love their feed also! Not so much wild hay!
Yea I have two little veggy lovers loving with us. When we were in VT they ate grass like it was going out of style! Decided the flavor just is so much better then home grass lol.
Casey loves grass. She'll happily spend her time wandering around the yard eating long strands of grass, and then getting them caught in her throat and hacking them up :P

Funny thing about her, she doesn't like cauliflower at all. There was a piece of cauliflower on the concrete on one of the routes we usually walk for about a week or two, and every time we walked past it, she would sniff it and then scrunch her face up with disgust. The dog will eat other animals POOP for pete’s sake, but she draws the line at cauliflower!
Ella loves frozen veges (make sure they don't have salt, butter or spices added) they are crunchy fun. She also loves bananas and the once in a while she gets a few pieces of popcorn.
Never feed any dog onions. It can cause a type of anemia which can kill them. Grapes, raisins are bad too.
We haven't found anything our dogs won't eat either! I'm going to try the frozen bannanna thing!
Murphy loves strawberries. I'll give him little pieces sometimes and he'll devour them instantly. He also loves peanut butter and we'll put it in his kong and then freeze it, he'll work on it for hours.
LOL! Tonight we discovered Frosty also like watermelon and strawberries! Crazy dog...
Merlin loves to eat the bunny's hay, and the bunny poop! Yuck. He really likes the clumps of grass that the lawnmower spits out too.
My dog gets, yams, squash, zuchinni, cucumber, apples, bananas, strawberries, watermelon, spinach, cabbage, peppers ect. She eats raw so i grate whatever is starting to go and blend it with her yogurt, she loves ALL veggies. I don't give her apple cores, or grapes, or mushrooms, or garlic or onions as they are all bad for her.
I can drop a chip on the floor, or popcorn, ect. and she wont eat it..but if i drop veggies she will take it and run!
