As far as the fire in the kitchen, all I can say is .....Dumbass, dumbass. dumbass!!
All cans have some kind of propellant, did we not think this one through? One of the genius ideas was to clean the dogs face with your hand. (then look around as if you did not realize you would have black paint on your hand!) Geez!!
And when was the last time your Corgi set the kitchen on fire?
and she looks so innocent too! Except for the shoe in her mouth that is....
Gromit and I picked up Sparkle last week. She's just four months old today.
Being surrounded by perfectly good doggie toys wasn't enough for her.
I was sitting at the computer, one ear trained on the small circus in the living room as Sparkle and Gromit played chase. After a time the noise subsided and I figured they'd worn themselves out. A few minutes later I got up from the computer to go check on them.
In the time between the noise of play stopping and me getting up, Sparkle had come in my office, stolen my sneaker, and taken it into the living room. No damage done, thankfully; I took the shoe away from her, gave her a toy, and went back to my desk. I got up a few minutes later to see how she was doing and she'd come in again and stolen the same shoe. Her career in Corgi crime has begun. Her days of innocence lasted 1 week.
I need to work on my vigilance too!
My hubby and I munched on a newly opened can of nuts last night while watching TV, then capped them up and left them on the coffee table. Mistake! This a.m. I found a chewed up plastic cover and an immaculately clean can of empty nuts, a kong ball, and a bone all together in a favored area. I think I will be picking up, nut encrusted Corgi balls later today!
<naughty wink> right back at ya!
I'mm telling you.....scary smart!
I keep a measuring cup in the large dog food container. The other day the scoop was mysteriously missing. I have no idea how it got gone. Our german shepherd has tried to get in it before, but has only managed to get the lid open or knock it over to splurge. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it. As I was looking I was talking to them asking them where it was. I finally gave up, and went upstairs. As I hit the top of the stairs, Seanna came zooming up, ran in front of me, and spit the cup out with a "phlah"...right at my foot with a look that said "here it is!". It was so funny...have no idea where it was, but at least she had it!
but..but..that was an annoying little knob!...just at mouth height when relaxing! IT WAS BEGGING FOR IT! ah ha hahaha ...mmph..(sorry) hee still laughin
