Ok, I know I made a mistake with Johann and his housetraining. We were doing wonderfully until he turned 5 months because I had a surgery and couldn't get upstairs to my room to sleep so he couldn't…Continue

Hey everyone-
I was browsing Craigslist just now and saw that this adorable 6 month old Tri girl needs a new home because her family is moving to a new place that doesn't allow pets :| here's the ad: http://houston.craigslist.org/for/2864154479.html
They are located in the Clear Lake/Webster area. Thanks for looking :)

... on my street. she was just walking around. She's old- her teeth are gross and she has various lumps on her body, and her eyes are starting to get cloudy. But she's really sweet- I've let her into the house now and my 11 month old Corgi (Johann) is really excited to have this "guest." I put up flyers in the neighborhood, called all the vet clinics, and even posted an ad online and a status on facebook. I also took her to the vet to check for a microchip, but unfortunatley she doesn't…

From time to time I see if there are any Corgis in shelters in the Houston area, where I live, and I came across this guy and his story broke my heart. He was born without front paws and his breeder stuck him in a shelter. I don't know anything else about him other than that, but it just broke my heart and I started crying (still crying). I don't know how anybody could NOT want to love this Corgi, he has his Corgi smile on even though life has been bad to him. If only I could adopt…

So I was running late for an important meeting and HAD to get in the shower. I always crate Johann when I'm in the shower- but I just didn't have time. He was sitting in the hall chewing on a toy or shoe... It didn't matter to me I just had to get going.
About seven minutes later, I emerged from the bathroom and he was gone. Not in the hall. I ran downstairs thinking he may be in the kitchen trying to get to the cat food. Not there either. The doors were locked- he…

Hi Jessica. Daisy and Scout are getting along great! Of course, I just fell in love with him. We got him from a breeder in Nevada. Daisy ran agility all weekend and did great. We brought Scout along too and he was so well behaved in his kennel. Will you be able to make the meet-up this weekend? I hope to see you there!
Hi! would love to see you and Johann one day! come to one of the meets soon! we missed you today.

Welcome to the group, so glad you could join us! I'm sorry for the delayed welcome, I've been busy starting up a side business in addition to my full time job.
Looking forward to meeting you guys at a meet up!
You might consider joining Corgis in Texas as well, I try to update with Corgi & dog events around Texas.
