Not too much to report. My husband has been working midnight shifts during a software "Go Live" at on of the hospitals his company has contracts with. So the household seems a bit strange as we adjust to having to be quiet all day long, and alone all night long. :(
I went to a "Girls night IN" party with a few girl friends. I taught some basic massage techniques and showed the girls how to make their own beauty products from things people usually already have in their…

This is why I don't get on here as much as I like. MyCorgi always makes me smile corgi's as far as the eyes can see. Well its a very happy day here. My book is now out on Amazon. It was written a few years ago. When my dear boy Jack was so ill with cancer. He and I sat together as I wrote. I would read it to him as it was being edited. If I didn't work on it he would nudge me to the computer to write. He sadly passed away…

It's sad. I dropped her off a little more than an hour ago and I miss her so much already. I think part of it is still some lingering feelings of when I last dropped a dog off at the vet's - she didn't make it. This time it's just a spay though - and Luna has been a healthy girl - it's just weird not having her here with me. Normally she would be running around the house right now, playing or frapping like crazy. Instead she's at the vet. My poor baby.... but it must be done and she'll…

I watered my plants in the backyard for the first time since I got Ein (They're mostly self sustaining). It turns out she loves water. I had a feeling since she likes to splash and play in her water bowl, but this another confirmation. Here's the evidence.
This is me watering my lemon tree with my right hand and takin pictures with my left. LOL…

As some of you may know, I teach 7th graders. Overall the kids like me and I like them. They love to see pictures and videos of Bear and Goldy and often if I'm out for a day, when I return they rarely ask about my health - but instead the dogs' health - making sure I haven't missed because one of my furbabies are sick.
During a punctuation lesson earlier this week on Monday we were reviewing Miss, Ms. and Mrs.
One of my students asked, "Ms. H are you…

So, I know I promised this blog post to some people last Friday. Well, it’s better late than never!
Let me start out by saying that I love my dog. He has radically changed my life since I brought him home 9 months ago. I’ve done my best making his life as comfortable as possible, and making our life together as flawless as can be. I’ve trained his tail off, I shower the brat in affection, I make sure what’s going into his mouth is better than what’s going into mine, I’ve…

Yesterday Scraper and I went on a 6 mile hike (don't know if that matters, but just thought I'd add that in). It was a very cold night so I decided to let scraper sleep on the bed with us. I let him out to use the restroom around 1am, and I couldn't sleep that night so at 6am I felt cold so I decided to hug him and felt his stomach a bit wet, so I immediately felt the blanket and found that it was wet too. I turned on the lights and saw that he wet himself! I know for a fact that it wasn't…

So today my dad came home from a short little errand and found the door that leads to the garage locked, no one locks that door or has a key for it. Then he found their door opened which is always closed when we leave. To top it off one of my moms favorite red shoes chewed on.
I want to catch her in the act just to see how she does it, but I am going to get more strict on her jumping up.

I admit it. The first thing I read in the Seattle Times (and yes, I still get the paper delivered) is the comics. I like to start off with something light and funny before I read the heavy stuff. This made me laugh and I am going to be cutting the strip out today. Hope ya'll enjoy.

There are two Pems on Tulsa's Craigslist today. I hate that one of them actually says "get rid of." Ick! If anyone can help these babies, please do. I already have a foster in my home right now or I'd go scoop them up!
