When I bathe Chloe I generally sing "baby baluga", "Shake , Shake, your booty but substitute corgi for booty, and my favorite things. I go to a self service dog wash so I wonder if anyone hears me. I cannot be the only one who sings to their dog.

We came back from a two night trip today and picked up our little girl at the vet (for boarding only). We gave her several toys, blankets and a travel crate to hide/sleep in at night. She seemed happy to see us today, but has vomited twice already and had a loose #2. I figure it's just stress right now. Perhaps cooked rice is the way to go, just in case.

Our Corgi Bruno is ranked 203rd out of more than 8000 dogs in the FIDO Casting Call contest. In order to win he needs to get the most votes.
To vote go to FIDOCASTINGCALL.CA. Enter his name "BRUNO" in the search box. There are 17 dogs named Bruno, but he is the only Corgi. Just click on his image and you will be directed to the voting page.
You can vote once a day until Sept 10.
Thanks…

I live in Vero Beach and my Roxi is a much happier dog after she's been to the groomer. I have her and her brother (a retriever/chow mix that sheds more than any corgi I've seen) bathed and shaved. Rox rolls around, plays more and just seems to be much more comfortable, even though she's an indoor dog. Plus side...the vacuuming of course. Down side? Just make sure to leave some fur around the nub. Shave that area and it's just not a pretty sight.

So we made it out of Mexico with our two Corgis (yea!). However, we have unexpectedly had to deal with skin issues on both of our dogs (once in Tank and twice in Ace). They get white bumps all over their body and develop severe scaling (scales) on their skin. The vet thinks they are allergic to the rag weed in Virginia, but it dawned on me that we switched them from Front Line to Advantix because of the problem with ticks where we live. Besides the Advantix and change in environment,…
