Hopefully by tomorrow night Alun will be home with his new family. I am soooooo lucky to have a humane society nearby that wanted me to help find Alun a new home. They would have loved me to take him but I'm full so they have worked with me and tomorrow Alun gets to meet his possible new Corgi brother and if all goes well he will go to his new home. Tonight I took Wynn my unneutered male to meet Alun and they did wonderful! Wish us all "luck" for a great meeting and a new home for this handsome…

OK, so this place is a little crazy (just look at their faces) but most of the corgis have adopted me as their BIG Corgi brother:) I am behaving well except for having some separation anxiety. I can now be out of the fence and I come when called but I don't understand why the chickens don't like to play with me. I think I'll stay! Tank…

Just a reminder to keep our furry friends safe:)
Common Picnic Poisons
Lastly, for you picnickers, make sure to keep common household picnic items out of reach when with your pets. Every day the Pet Poison Helpline receives many calls about pets getting into people food, some of which can be remarkably harmful.
- Xylitol: This natural sugar substitute is low-calorie to you, but is dangerous to dogs, as it causes a severe drop in blood sugar and…

Tank came home on Friday and our new BIG corgi rescue is adapting well. Don't know if we'll change his name as he really is a Tank. He is wonderful! What even the rescue place didn't know till they started the paperwork was that this is Tank's 4th home and he's just over a year. The lady was sooooo sad but I know this will work for him:)…

Sage did a great job tonight enjoying and passing each station on her test:)
We ran into old trainers who remembered Sage from former classes that were now testing her.
Sage now can take her three local tests for Therapy Dogs, Inc. and the local Puppy Love Therapy Dogs,…

Sage, my grandson and I went to meet Tank this evening. He is a big boy but Sage let him know very nicely that she would be the one calling the shots and he was respected this. Tank got along well with all of us and is a very gentle BIG boy.I think he will love having several acres to run and play in plus other dogs to keep him company. His foster was impressed at how nicely…

Hi everyone,
I am sooooooo bummed. We were going to get Zip (the obese corgi) from SD the end of May. He died of a bowel obstrustion last week. I have spent hours building fences and dogs houses. I am looking for a male overweight Corgi that needs, love, weight loss and a new forever home! He will need to live outside but be house trained so that he can spend time in the house. I…

Snow....Sage is just the prop! This was a very artistic blizzard and as you can see very high drifts...took the dogs about 4-5 tries to climb up where Sage is!

OK... so the dogs are loving it but after a week of melting we now have another blizzard. My 4 wheel-drive is stuck in the field about 15 feet off the driveway and yes, I had to walk a mile in this to get to our other house and now have to walk back:( Since we still have high snowbanks...Sage and Hermes decided to jump over and chase critters!
. We are expecting about 12 inches…

I am so proud of Sage tonight. She hasn't been able to come to work with me all week as we have a new person who moved in and this person has MS. Today was Sage's first chance to meet the person and Sage did wonderful. She listened and was perfectly behaved when near this person. Actually after a few hours the person wanted Sage to move in (I had to say "no" but she can visit often:) Although we haven't started formal training for Therapy Dog we will do one more obedience class and then test…

Hoping all you corgi lovers out there are able to share the day with family, friends and furbabies! We get to spend the day with Mav who is 13 and his hips are getting worse so I don't know how many years left we will have him to share this day. As you can see we will have young and old here plus several of the 2 legged species! Have a great Thanksgiving! Jane…

Sage did very well and the trainer actually said she did well! Sage
at 8 months old she still had puppy energy! We now can take her Canine Good Citizen test next May and at the same time she can test for therapy dog but that will be a different test! I never knew with these certificates(CGC) that we can get into areas that other dogs might not be allowed and with the therapy certificate we can even be on school grounds. She got to pick her new…

Well...the minute Amber and Jen walked in the door he came over sat by them. He looked awfully comfortable like he knew this was his new forever family! He did very well and I was so happy that he greeted them the way he did! I don't think he will have a problem after seeing him so friendly from the start and you could see how much the two of them were excited too! I will miss you Jackson but I feel very confident that your new family will give you much love and attention!

Well today I was out getting my garden fence down (which by the way did not keep out the rabbits) and had 5 dogs out with me. Awhile later I realized that Sage and Jackson were not around. So I called and called. About 5 min later I looked down the driveway and here was this little animal running full speed, tongue almost to the ground not slowing down till she plopped her butt on the ground next to me! What they did, I think was that Jackson went to our other place about a mile from where I…

Sage had a wonderful time and loved everyone especially the children plus all but 2 dogs! She was a real trooper hanging in there for over 6 hours! We met another MyCorgi member and wouldn't have known it but I told them about the site and found out they were members....that was great! Sage was one pooped pup when we got to the car!
