How high can your corgi jump??
hello i just wanted to know how high everyone's corgi can jump??
my little hachi... is well.. not very good lol
she cant even jump into the car... but dont blame her i guess cos she got short legs...
she can only go up stairs...tahts about it.. ahhaha

She might still learn...Livvy is was afraid to jump in cars but she does now...she has a "spring action" and can jump onto thje very high beds (36"???) beds with no problem...my others can't jump that high but do make it into our old truck and don't use the steps to get up on our deck.They just land on the top of the deck which is 2 steps...

I don't encourage jumping very high because they can be injured when they jump down. They manage to get on the couch but I lift them into the car.

Atlas is a freak, so he can jump pretty high. I would probably say his back legs get about a foot and a half off the ground, although it might even be higher. He's also only 19lbs so I'm too worried about him hurting himself on the way down.
We watched a friends corgi this weekend who is 29lbs (lean and long) and I don't he's physically capable of jumping.

My Vienna is 27 lbs, 6 years old and her mouth can easily reach somewhere between my chest and shoulder (4-5 ft) How do I know? I was distracted talking to a friend of mine while I had a cheeto in my hand, yes, she jumped and snatched it out of my hand! Grrrrr....

Jack will jump in and out of our Subaru Forester, either the hatchback or the back seats (where he rides in harness). He's pretty athletic. Sometimes if they can't see what they are jumping onto, they are afraid to try even if they could technically make it.
If your Corgi is light enough to easily lift, it's probably just as well, as high-jumping could in theory contribute to back problems. However, my Corgi is too big to lift easily, so I let him jump: I figure picking him up is as likely to hurt his back as jumping, and jumping is more enjoyable for all of us. So up he goes.

Grissom could probably jump pretty high if I let him but I try to limit his jumping as he's only nine months old.

HAHA i think hachi found her way up a little wall (about 40 cms?) while she was chasing other dogs in the park... but
thats the shorter side of the wall.. when they jump over the higher side, she kinda just stands there and will walk around
hahha

Potus can jump out of the car, into the passenger seat (but not the back seat- his seat) He can jump up past my waist, though how high is his limit I'm not sure.
When he was a puppy he jumped off a wall at the breeders which was three foot of the ground.
P.S. Just have to add that Potus is curled up in my lap right now watching the screen as I type this so. So cute. Oops, nope, he's just jumped down.
