Ragnar was the same way, except he waited until 7am. He would wake us up, he'd go out, and then he'd go back to sleep, which wasn't terrible, but it was disruptive to my sleep schedule. Once he got a little older it was apparent that he didn't "need" to go out, he just had made a habit of it. If Ruby can hold it all night by now, then she should be able to sleep in a little later for you. What we did was:
1) Take him out the very very last thing before bed
2) When he started crying in the morning at 7, tell him to lay down, go back to sleep, it's bedtime---whatever Ruby understands for "quiet"
3) Some fussing and cuddling was involved usually and he would eventually settle back down and go to sleep. If he really did have to go, he'd keep complaining.
It took about a week to break the habit for us. Good luck!
Sorry no advice :( Mine is 2yrs old and she still get up at 6-7am every day. I give her breakfast at 6:30am during the week, while her human brother gets ready for school. On the weekends you better believe she gets me up at the same time for her breakfast. I usually feed and walk her, then go back to sleep for a little bit.
Good luck.
I take Al & Gwynn drinking with me on Fridays. They sleep til noon (but they throw up in my boots).
