Has anyone read the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris? I thought it sounded like it might be fun.

I wondered about the 2nd season of True Blood being modeled after the books/I have not read them yet, but I liked the first season a little better!!!

I read the Sookie vampire series. They are quick and fun to read. From what I can tell only the first book follows the series on HBO. After that the writers seem to have gone their own way.

I know what you mean. I think that's the complaint we all have; not enough time to read all those wonderful books.

Did you read the synopsis of the two I mentioned? If you like mysteries you would enjoy these, especially Shadow of the Wind, it has some pretty great twists in it.

Alice, darn it! Now I want to read those two also. There is just never enough time...

I love to read! Especially dog training books! I am currently reading Pat Mc Connell's For The Love of a Dog and a murder mystery by Eric Van Lustbader (wrote the Bourne series)

Ok, I can't help myself. Here's where you can check out Shadow of the Wind and Angel's Game. :)
