December 24th, yes Christmas Eve, is Lucky's rescue anniversary!  He was found in a snow bank outside of Reno 9 years ago!  Lucky corgi and lucky us.  I cannot believe we have had him 9 years, time does fly when you are having fun.

I got Cora from a rescue group in Virginia. They rescued her from a kill shelter in Tennessee. She is a very sweet little girl and so full of energy and joy. I love her very much. Not sure what her mix is; maybe beagle or rat terrier.

I found my Gertie at a rescue shelter in Wisconsin, where she had been with 5 brothers and sisters, and was the last one remaining...poor girl! I'm so lucky to have her, she's really the perfect puppy! The person running the shelter said that she's for sure Pembroke Welsh Corgi, potentially half Golden Retriever. I definitely see some golden--very hairy ears which are sometimes floppy, at times erect, but often halfway in between--sticking straight out!

I picked Sally up from a family that was going to euthanize or abandon her in a heavy traffic area. As soon as I heard this I without a doubt took her into my home and love her soo much!

Im still busy with cooper but once hes a few months older i would really like to adopt a corgi, its very rare to see them in my area though (GTA ontario), i wish there was a way i could get a corgi from the states :(

We rescued Max from a no kill shelter in Wisconsin. He was there with his mommy and siblings. He is a Corgi/Shepard mix, they think. He is about 11 weeks old. We got him almost two weeks ago and he fits right in. He loves playing with his cousin Gus (a Shepard/Lab mix) They are an odd looking pair :) Max is full of energy and makes us laugh all the time :)

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I'm Rosemary Tilton and I live in Glendale Az. I was first introduced to corgi's at Az Humane society. My son was looking for a dog and I was just walking around and saw this adorable tri colored dog........wi a long body n little legs. she was so cute n lovable , she stole my heart at first site. Her name was Shaka, she had been turned in by her owners and it became pretty obvious when we got her home that she had been abused..
She was the love of my husband and my life for nearly 6 yrs when she suddenly crossed over. We were both physical devastated by her passing. A friend from another corgi group got us our new girl chloe mae and since I 've tried to help our area rescue as much as I can ( Cactus corgi's) Rosemary

Hi! We got our corgi mix baby from the local SPCA. I still can't believe that she was there and that one of the local foster-home rescue groups didn't pick her up. She's so sweet, loving, gentle (except towards other dogs who try to say hello to her mama and papa), and just a wonderfully calm dog. After we found her, I really just wanted to donate money to the animal shelters in hopes that it can help other dogs like our Kira.

Hello all!! I am saddened to have to write here but my rescued pup passed away recently. I am going to be searching for another pup to give a forever home to in the near future. If anyone from the NC area can give me pointed in the right direction, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
