Comment by Karen & David Roth on October 12, 2010 at 9:35am: Lisa/Tia: Amos is picky about who he likes. He's polite to everyone, but only certain people (adults or children) get his full enthusiasm. We've found that generally kids seem to have no clue about how to approach a dog in a mannerly way and I think many dogs just get tired of being smacked around under the guise of being "petted". (We guard Amos zealously from such kids, but many dogparents don't.)

She loves all the attention too. She seems to love adults, but could care less about kids. Have you noticed this with yours?
