When we first got her, my little Kaida, she adored her plushies, carried them around with her and even slept next to them. Now, while she still loves her plushies (especially Carrot!), she doesn't have nearly as much interest in them.
No, little Kaida Corwgyn has a different obsession. My husband and I call it.. the Squeaky Obsession. You see, we bought her some little squeaky tennis balls in addition to the plushies she used to love.. she never cared for those little green balls…

Youtube Video: Clever Dog who Plays with Himself
This dog seems like a corgi to me... something that a Corgi would come up with?
But it looks like a mix sometimes?

Well the results are in and Harrison did not make the 12 month calender semi-finalist. oh well. He is still very proud of himself. I was really expecting more pictures to be chosen as finalist to be voted on not just 17. Kinda feels pointless to vote. Just my opinion.

Well, we attended our first bark-o-weenie! Initially the plan was to dress merlin and morgana as bats, and have our roommates corgi, Angelo, as a vampire lord. Unfortunately Morgana was having a rough time with allergies, so she ended up staying home. Instead, our basset hound, Freyja stepped up and took over as bat #2.
Everyone had a blast! Merlin was very excited to play 'dog walk', the canine version of a cake walk. We ended up taking home a collapsible dog bowl, and a box…

So I got in the mail this weekend my quarterly "Chuck and Don's Bark n Mews" from the Chuck and Don's Pet Food Outlet store (love this place).
I went through the ads and pulled a few of them I thought would work nicely. I ended up pulling up a "2 Free 13.2oz Lotus Canned Dog Food" coupon and grabbed up the "Chicken and Asparagus Stew" since I figured it would be easier on my dog's digestion.
Here is the run down on the ingredients:
First 5: Chicken, Chicken…

Hello to all the Corgi people! I will be getting our first Corgi puppy in 2 days, after much anticipation! I've wanted a Corgi for over 20 years, and now is the time. I've noticed that many Corgi families can't "have just one" in their house! Seems like it's a common progression in Corgi-land! I have promised my husband and myself that I'd be a "one-dog" home....question: Will I end up breaking my word? Ha ha....all of you one-Corgi peeps....I need some support and feedback…

I first fell in love with corgis when I worked at my family's doggie daycare and boarding facility.
Everything about them made me want one and after 2years of working there and working with many corgis I found a local breeder and was so excited and that's when I got my first corgi (Bastian). Now from working with them I knew they could be one of the two, very very sweet with both people and other dogs OR have a big bad ATTITUDE!
And when I picked Bastian out of that litter I…

So, ever since I brought Lilly home, she and my daughters Corgi Ein, have growled and jumped at my cat DeeDee. Well, I woke this morning and DeeDee had passed away. She wasnt sick, never displayed any strange behavior. So my daughter and I are just wondering if maybe the Corgi's knew something was wrong with her. It is a sad day, but the bunny butts are doing everything they can too cheer me up, and she went very peacefully, and quickly.

Merlin, my little boy of thw two corgi twins is mr.personlity. He is always the FIRST to give kisses, make friends with strangers, jump in your lap, etc. His favorite toy is currently a two way rope toy, that is well on its way to being defrayed. Merlin has changed a lot since we initially took him home.
The first day merlin was home, he was under the impression that nipping faces for attention was an acceptable behavior. WRONG! the first week was seriously like puppy boot…

My husband and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary this weekend! EEEK!
We have been tossing around the idea of a trip to the woods in Tennessee to perhaps rent out a cabin and enjoy a nice weekend away from home. LeeLoo included.
Does anyone know of anywhere that they allow dogs? We want this first family vacation to be special and we can't even imagine boarding her. She's our only kid right now and we're not going to leave her behind.
I would love any…

He is a very nice BIG(I am guessing 35+ pounds) boy but also a very BIG challenge. He is scared yet although has warmed up to the people and the cats....he is dog aggressive at this point:( I only haveTank my sweet Corgi mix here with him and he growls and wants to go after him so I either have to seperate or crate Ottis. I know things will get better each day but for now I'm "on guard". Ottis lived with other dogs and his previous owner had him since a pup...wish us "luck"…

After combing through all my pictures of Doris Daylily for the calendar contest, I couldn't decide between two. One was of Doris' formative days, when she sat down in the front yard and chewed on a fallen leaf, and the other came from a day in the park when she thought about chasing something. The photo of her bunny butt really spoke to me,…
