I know it has been forever since I have posted on here. Wynstan and I have been extremely busy traveling throughout the US. He has been on several trips with my to Miami, New Orleans, Savannah GA, and Dallas. I am even looking at moving to the Twin Cities or Seattle area in a few years.
Unfortunately, Wynstan will not be able to travel with me on some of my longer trips because I will be on my new motorcycle. A friend and I will be taking time off work and traveling down…

The Info from Little Legs Rescue:
We recently took 3 Pems from a mid-TN owner/back-yard breeder. Trigger, the oldest male, was intact and turned out (“light”) HW+. He’s been at our vet’s office in Greeneville, TN since we got him: has been vaccinated, neutered and had his HW treatment. He seemed to have a bad reaction to the HW treatment (swelling). On Thursday 5/12 he was in lot of pain and as of Friday 5/13, he is down in the rear and x-rays revealed a ruptured disk at T11…

I can't sleep... and feel the need to blog...
So I was fast asleep about 1 hour ago, dreaming of wee lil' corgi bunny butts running loose on the pastures of England. Then suddenly I was awoken by a 22 lb corgi standing on my chest and the sound of a hacking sheltie in the distance. And what to my wondering eyes does appear.. 4 large piles of vomit that pale in comparison to the Great Lakes. Don't you hate that feeling? You know you want to pretend they aren't there and…

So I have momentarily become a 2 Corgi household after a neighbour turned up on my doorstep with a stray Corgi she found. Seems as if my house has become 'the Corgi house' in the neighbourhood. It was a smart move on her part- I do tend to 'note' the Corgis in the area, as Corgi owners do.
This Corgi seems to be a bit older than Potus. It (I haven't checked to see if its a boy or a girl) has a docked tail which, as docking is illegal here, suggests it must be 5 or over, and…

Well, Solomon has one more week at Obedience Class. He is doing soooooo good. He now knows Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Recall & Finish. We practice but when doing the heel and I stop he does NOT like to sit. He wants to stand there, I physically have to make him sit. I guess thats just his little way of being a defiant boy!!!!! Part of being a stubborn corgi. I have began to trust him alot more and that feels really good. I am so protective of him that I…

Poor Chomper! (By the way, that was the name on his tag).
Chomper is the Pomeranian my husband found loose late last night by our house.

What a sweet little guy who loves people and loves other dogs, but alas he is not crate trained and it turns out he's intact and quite the little marker. My cat was miserable with him…

I love being a Mom. I'm a Mom to two beautiful little girls. I'm a Mom to a cuddly American Eskimo Dog. And I would love to be a Mom to a beautiful pembroke corgi puppy. This, however, is proving to be much more difficult than I had anticipated. The journey, so far, has been been filled with lots of ups and downs, but I've come close on three separate occasions.
I once found a breeder within a 3-hour drive that had just what I wanted: a female red/white puppy. …

NOT what I needed at 10:30 on a worknight.
My husband took the Corgis out for a last pee at about 10:30 and up trotted a Pomeranian, loose, wearing a collar and tags.
Bad news is, the phone number is hand-written and we can't make out the last two digits.
Worse news is, Chomper is in an ex-pen in my kitchen and appears to bark like mad whenever I leave the room. I can hardly blame him! I'd be scared too. And Chomper's barking makes the…

I say a lot of things I never do. I never got the Vespa I wanted and may never will. I never took my sister mini-golfing like I promised. I wanted to be a zookeeper, but I let my mother bully me into something else. I said I was going to quit engineering, and I never did. Hundreds of art projects go conceived, discussed, and unstarted. My intentions for exercise never quite make it off the ground. Owning and caring for a Corgi was a dream I always talked about but never really…

We got a new member of the family today!
Meet Andrew Jackson!
He's our adorable new puppy! Now we have three!
Didi is ambivalent to the new puppy. Reagan is enamored with it but I have to watch him because sometimes when they play he gets too excited and I have to stop the play session so he doesn't get too over…

Was reading thru the blogs this morning, too wet to garden, and noticed that a fellow corgi owner had Her corgi come down with colitis after trying some salmon-based kibble. That totally alarmed Me!!Our corgis eat Canidae no glutton/wheat salmon 40% protein kibble. It was recommended due to the dry coats and itching alot of corgi get. After being on the food for over a year,We've had no health issue (except Merlin's ccl surgeries when He hurt Himself) from either pup.Thought I'd
throw it…
