This is a post from Hyperbole and a Half- a comedy blog. It's not directly corgi related, but as a dog owner, I found it VERY funny. Laughed and laughed. I hope some of you like it too.

Here is a commerical featuring the 3 Corgis from the movie "The Kings Speech" that a friend of mine sent to me. It's pretty good and I figure it would appeal to us Corgi lovers.

Hi everyone!
I just set up my 9-10 month corgi up for a special surgery cause he has crytorchidism to get fixed on Monday, April 25th.
I'm extremely nervous, since I was told it was more of an exploratory surgery to find his one testicle. Since they don't exactly know which area of his body it'll be in.
Can anyone help ease my anxiety? Is it a safe surgery? Do you know if my corgi will feel okay after the surgery? Is there any advise I should…

Hey everyone,
My husband and I decided to get a second corgi, and felt like a 1 year old boy would be a good addition. We now have a almost 2 year old fixed boy (Rhys), and the addition is a 1 year old unfixed (tomorrow is d-day however) boy (Beau). Our new boy has been home since 7pm last night, and although the two aren't fighting, they also don't seem to be overly entertained with one another. Occasionally, the new one will whine when my 2 year old approaches him, but that's it.…

Morning walks are filled with new springy smells & sounds! Birds chirping, ground exposed, duck or geese pairs in the river...
This morning was especially wonderful! It actually rained (instead of snow) last night. I only needed my fleece instead of fleece & shell over. The snow was soft corn-snow instead of hard crust. So fresh tracks were readily visible. We always see several sets of fox tracks & once in a while moose tracks. a couple times the moose. This morning there…

I don't even know where to begin with this..........okay, so I've been waiting since last October for my application to be approved so that I can take the next step towards Daxter become a therapy dog. He comes with me to work at least 2-3 times a week and is basically known as "the front-door greeter". He's always been extremely friendly and outgoing and absolutely LOVES people, so becoming a therapy dog was an easy decision for me to make. I've gone through all the processes and filled out…

Maddie passed her therapy dog test in September of last year, but our first visit was today. When she went for the vet paperwork to get her final certification, her stool sample was positive for coccidia. The vet said it rarely causes illness in adults and not treating was an acceptable option, but he could not sign off on a clear fecal when, frankly, the fecal wasn't clear. So I sighed and gave her a round of Albon (it's only a few bucks, but I do hate treating when a dog is not sick.…

So, today was the annual family reunion for Potus. Run by his Mum's owner, it included dogs from all 4 litters! And all with tails!. There was a lot to keep them busy, sniffing, eating, drinking, chasing, fighting. And it was a good chance for all us owners to have a chat and compare Corgi notes. It was interesting when joggers and general passers by came past, all amazed at how many Corgis there were (there aren't as many around in Australia as there used to be). And once one Corgi started…

I know this isn't about corgis but....it is about a short dog....I found a sheltie today wandering through traffic, stopped my car, she came right over and I pulled her in. I went to every nearby house, no one knew of her. I left a message with the humane society and gave her a bath and a brush. I probably won't be able to keep her, but for now I'll hold on to her. Hopefully I can find the owners; if she wasn't dumped, she had a collar with no tags.
