Its’ very difficult to say
What all you’ve done for me,
All the places we would go
The things that we did see.
The joys we shared,
The tears we shed,
The lives we touched,
The lives we led.
Though others try to fill the space
Your leaving me has made,
There’s none can ever take your…

I know the grief process is different for each person, but I'm pretty sure I'm lucking out this time. The burial, the support, and the memories have all kept me so positive through this traumatic and emotional experience.
Here's a bit of background before I continue: Murphy loved to dress up. I'm not one of those dog-owners that just says that, either. Maya HATES it.. Moses only likes it because you are giving him attention when you are dressing him. Murphy... he LOVED to be…

This is a cute post on 9gag. Not corgi related, but definitely so true! Wish more people would understand a dog's body language. They try so hard to tell us things and most people just ignore them cuz they can't understand.

As he is 11~ months old now, I decided to take Ace in for his snip. I would have waited until the full twelve, but money is decent for the first time in ages now so it was best to get it done when I could afford it. The total ended up being 340€, gack! Ace is/was a cryptorchid, so they really had to do some digging around to find that atrophied second testicle.
My only regret is the magnificent belly fur that took so long to grow... is now gone. Ace had sparsely furred…

We are having problems with our corgi Winston. Today is a good example. We are on vacation in the Georgia mountains. we went on a long trail walk this morning. as you know, Winston lives for this kind of stuff. When we get back to the car, we cannot get him to come to us to put on his leash. this is typical. he goes mental on us and ran off. it took us 45 minute to secure him and get him leashed. He is 14 months old. We got him at 5 months. he is the runt of the litter. He has always been…

I had not even been trying to get Waffle a CGC because we'd never been in an obedience class and I was adamant that we would fail--and was I wrong or what! Our CGC performance was FLAWLESS. The trainer giving our test—who has been training dogs for 20 years and has taught countless CGC classes and given countless CGC tests—said that Waffle was the best dog she has ever tested for the CGC. Wow!
Anyway, we took the CGC at the Virginia Tech Pre-Vet Club Annual Pet Show. We entered in…

Well we finally got our little girl. Made a few hour trip out to get her, and she was wonderful the whole way home. Met her mom and dad and they were healthy, wonderful dogs. The mom was such a sweetie and wanted to be pet by everyone! When we first brought the puppy home, our cat and other dog were very interested in her. We introduced them slowly and let her get situated to her surroundings first. When all the animals met, they got along great. The puppy (who we have decided to name Mila)…

so i've been thinking about names for a while, and ultimately i want something unique that not many people have. lately, i've been throwing around the name Ravioli. this is partly because i love eating ravioli and secondly because i think it's cute. i've gotten about a 50-50 response on who likes it and who doesn't. however, 2 of the most important people in my life, my best friend and boyfriend, don't like it! i know it's ultimately my decision because it is my dog and i can name him…

Here is a new picture of the babies--Taffy at top and Huey at the bottom. This was the first day the breeder had taken them outside. They had just had their first exposure to solid food. Much of it got on their noses and feet. In about five weeks we get to bring them home. We are going to see them again next Thursday. We can hardly wait!
I think I can finish…
