Well, this weekend was interesting. I came home at lunch on Friday to pee in the pen, which hasn't happened all week. I wonder what brought it? It frustrated me, but since it already happened, there wasn't much I could do to Poppy at that moment. What I did do was make her pen smaller so there is really only room for her bed and food/water dishes, which is something I should have done a while ago. She only seems to pee like once a week, but maybe this will help is not happening again. We'll…

We are currently training for our first AKC agility trial at the end of February. I am very excited. Because UKC was our first experience at novice level, there was no need to know the weaves. This is definitely not the case for AKC. So weaves have been the main focus of most of our training sessions.
As a New Years resolution, I decided to put some more dedication into agility training for Baxter and Ziggy. Since the new year, we've had three training sessions and one group class.…

I went up north wedding dress shopping with friends this weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) and left Scout at Jeremy's apartment. I was glad to be able to do this since he just got his landlord's approval that she was allowed to stay. Well, I got a funny report when I got back last night:
She was perfect Friday night, then he had to work 1/2 day Saturday. Came home to her happily sleeping in his bed (which is probably too high off the ground for her, but with no supervision, she figured that…

Please help Tallulah by "liking" her photo. She has been dieting for three months and has become more healthy, happy, and energetic. I used to have to carry her up the stairs, but now she can run up them…
ContinueWhat an amazing corgi to survive an avalanche, and then walk 4 miles to the motel to find his owners and sat in front of the door waiting for them. The owners thought he was dead and headed back home to Bozeman. They got the call that he was alive, how wonderful. But very sad that the father/husband was killed in the avalanche. Can watch video. google dog survives avalanche. So dedicated and devoted to his owners.
So my little fella decided it would be a fun treat while I was cleaning the bathroom to snack on a pack of gum. Of course it had to have xylitol in it so I induced vomiting and had to take him to the ER. There'll be a pill he has to take and I have to feed him at four hour intervals for the next 12 hours but hopefully the little bugger should be okay. Good thing I caught him pretty quickly afterwards. Apparently dogs can have come serious side effects like a diabetic coma or liver failure.…

Meeko is now almost 10 months and he has started doing something weird. It started with a new sweater I recieved at christmas and now he does it with everything. When he smells my new sweater (recieved from a native american store) he pushes his nose right up to it and pulls away about 2 inches and his mouth opens and closes slowly but in steady movements. Like he is suckling but with nothing in his mouth. He now does it to things outside? Is it like one of those thing to help him smell…

Since things have calmed down a lot, I am probably not going to update every day, a good thing!!!
The worst thing was on Wednesday when I took Poppy outside for our midday walk, she pee'd on the stairs in my apartment building, which she had never done before. Grrrrrrrr. So since then, I pretty much run her down as fast as we can.
In other news, I video taped her in the afternoon (which I wrote about last time) and then I video taped her in the morning, after a shorter walk and…

Not a corgi but just looked at my phone and a semi-friend just asked me if I wanted her puppy (4 months) for some stupid reason they got the brother and sister I think. AAARRRGGGHHHH now what, I hope she won't send it to the pound. The only picture I saw was he was black, probably going to be some lab mix I suspect.

We adopted a rescue several months back. Things have been going really well. The only issued we have now, is Bud eating too fast.
He scarfs his food so quickly that he regularly begins to choke. He often won’t wait to stop chocking before he resume eating. ARG!
I began researching slow down bowls. Most of the reviews said that they worked great until the dog figured out how to tip the bowl and dump out the food.
I began to think of alternatives. At first I…

If I don't have one of the boyz on my lap I have the other. They have been sooooo clingy to the point of it being annoying. I have had some time in the hospital a few months back and then another day surgery and I was not allowed to pick them up. Are they sensing my pain or disability. I have stuff to do, and it seems like they are nudging me all the time.

My best friend shared this with me on Facebook today, and I think many fellow Corgi-ans will get a kick out of this:

Last night as I sat on the couch, I look down to see Tucker with a ball in his mouth. I have seen him do this before but haven't had the camera nearby to catch it in time. This time I was able to capture it with my phone and then upload it to u tube. I joined u tube so I would have a means of sharing this video, since I don't know when it will happen again.
The ball he is playing with is a Planet Dog ball, which both Lance and Tucker love, they are squishy, which they both…
