Domineering Corgis

Hi there,

I have 2 female corgi's, both spayed, who used to get along great when they were young but now get in big fights a few times per month.  One girl is 3.5 and the other 2.5 years old.  They seem to be good friends most of the time and play well with each other but lately they have been fighting.  I recently had to take the younger girl into the vet because the other bit and ripped a gash out of her leg.

Has anybody else had problems with domineering…

2 Heart Warming Rescue Stories from Japan

These 2 dogs have been rescued! Helped by a team of volunteers led by  "Butch Japan" pet food company president : Kenn Sakurai. The only way they can access the region is on dirt bikes w/ cages strapped on the back. It took them 2-hrs to ride the dogs to the…

Corgi's are taking over California!!

I swear, in the 4 years we've owned Lola, I've seen maybe 3 Corgis in my town. In the past 2 weeks, I've seen 4! And 3 of them were in the last 2 days!! Not that I'm complaining... who doesn't love a dog that can double as a walking Twinkie???

I think our Governor might have something to do with it... Sutter the Corgi. Looks like he's using his…

A Corgi Story

Been thinking bout this for a month now, but I need help. I want to try to make a kids book based off of a corgi, I like to draw; I just can't think of a good little story. Need some funny corgi antics or ideas. Anyone out there got any?

Corgis for Japan

A picture says a thousand words. Since many of us do not speak/read Japanese I wanted to start a post where we could all post pictures of support to those in Japan. Since the tragedy in Japan struck we have all been bombarded with horrific images of sadness and destruction. Many of us brought to tears by the photo of the man being reunited with his dog. We didn't need to read the caption to know what the picture was saying. Let's use that same power, the power of pictures, to send Japan some…

Having a bad day

I can be having what I consider the worst day ever since my last worst day ever and then see an amazing "Corgi Smile", it just makes me melt! The excitement in their faces when you come home makes everything go away and you have to smile!!!!! I love these little ones and I can't imagine a world without Corgi Smiles! Love them, orignal little sweethearts!

Something On My Mind

I have been thinking a lot about my attachment to mycorgi.com lately. Did you know that I check in here before I check Facebook? That I cry sometimes because a member has to say goodbye to the corgi in their life whether it is due to death or changing fortunes. I am afraid to look at some of the posts of corgis needing home because it just is so painful. I chime in on everything because I just want the poster to know that someone is listening and cares. Why does the activity here affect me… Continue

An out of control addiction

An introduction is in order I suppose....I am Cassie and I fear I have a problem.

For years now I have been wanting to get a corgi, I even had a date in mind. I had decided on pembroke over cardigian. had decided red and white over tri-color. My dad had promised me one after I graduated… Continue

Translation found - thanks Chewie!

This picture was on The Daily Corgi today and after I recovered from the tears of the image, I was dying to know what it said.  Is the dog okay?  Were they reunited?

Can someone translate the text?

2nd trip to the Groomers!

I hurt my neck and caused a spasm in my back earlier this week, so my one weekend off this month was sort of ruined for me and my boy. He desperately needed a bath and I couldn't do it. We went to our Petsmart for a grooming trip (his 2nd one ever) and it went SO WELL! He did great on his first one, but he's definitely becoming "all boy" the last week or so (the neuter appointment is in 2 weeks) therefore I had my little worries.

When we (the lady and I) were filling out his…
