Søren was born on February 6, 2010.  I picked him up 9 weeks later, and my whole life was changed.  Søren's my first corgi and my first dog, but he's been very patient with me.  He was the only thing that kept me sane when I was bedridden with a herniated disc!  He's gotten to be a very big boy, but he still wants to sit in my lap.  He's the best!

Søren got a new big boy dog bed for his barkday.  Tomorrow, he will see some of his pals at the dog park and eat his special…

So proud of my fluffy boy, Jon Farleigh! After nine months of training and hard work, he tested yesterday for AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and was certified.  Now we have the foundation to move on to therapy certification.  YAY!

BTW -  His merle brother, Dewi, is still working on his manners and if all goes as planned, will take the CGC test in May.

It's sad.  I dropped her off a little more than an hour ago and I miss her so much already.  I think part of it is still some lingering feelings of when I last dropped a dog off at the vet's - she didn't make it.  This time it's just a spay though - and Luna has been a healthy girl - it's just weird not having her here with me. Yesterday Scraper and I went on a 6 mile hike (don't know if that matters, but just thought I'd add that in). It was a very cold night so I decided to let scraper sleep on the bed with us. I let him out to use the restroom around 1am, and I couldn't sleep that night so at 6am I felt cold so I decided to hug him and felt his stomach a bit wet, so I immediately felt the blanket and found that it was wet too. So today my dad came home from a short little errand and found the door that leads to the garage locked, no one locks that door or has a key for it. Then he found their door opened which is always closed when we leave. To top it off one of my moms favorite red shoes chewed on.

OMG, Frosty is such a wuss. Heard a noise outside, opened the door to see, it was some strange cat whooping on one of our farm cats. Frosty busts past me through the door and races to Jasper's rescue. Frosty then promptly gets his butt whooped by strange cat and runs crying back to the house.  How embarrassing lol!!!
