Sammie's mission.

Hey everyone Sammie had her first surgery on her right leg a week ago and as you may know she needs surgery on both legs. Well her left is doing even worse. She hasn't been raising much money on corgipals lately for us to afford these surgeries. Please spread the word so we can get both her ACL surgeries payed for! The vet won't let us get the surgery without paying it afterwords. Her link for fundraising money will be below. Please donate or spread the word!!!!…

What will my puppy look like?

Hello, I recently bought my first corgi, his name is Señor and I love the little guy. He is now 10 weeks old and very smart and active.

I´m pretty sure he is a sable, he has a little bit of white around his nose and down his neck and chest and has white toes. I don´t know how much his color is going to change, and how far are the white parts going to spread.

Did anyone had a similar puppy that can show me the puppy vs. adult pictures?…

Thoughts & Love for Ziggy <3

We found several lumps on him. He was recently at the groomers, and they weren't there then, so we know for sure that they're new (while we would hope that we would notice that, I wanted to double check that they were indeed new)...

They WERE each about the size of a…

Coby is scheduled for tightrope surgery today.

I just dropped him off at vet.

Wish him a good luck, this is the biggest surgery he's getting it.

Hope this is the first surgery and the last surgery in his life.

Will we ever get to sleep in again??

Our little Corgi boy is now almost 4 months old...he sleeps in mom and dads room under the bed. Our 15 year old son Nikolas gets up during the school week to feed the horses at 5:20 AM and takes Remington to go potty every morning. (this allowed mom and dad an extra hour of sleep) he would then put the puppy back in our room. Remington would sleep until the alarm went off at 6:30. He would then race around to my (moms)…

Another dog???

Hi

About a month ago I posted about having to euthanize my corgi who had serious neurological issues and was literally attacking us. Anyways, our last experience prior was with a perfect yellow lab. So, now that we are feeling that we really want another dog....call me crazy but my heart lies with another corgi. It seems most people with corgis experience what we had hoped to experience....loving dogs who they can trust. I can't imagine anyone having to go thru what we did and if they… Continue

Prayers for Noodles--UPDATED 3/25

Well, we no sooner get Dexter (Noodles cousin) feeling better when Noodles decided he would like some attention as well. Last week, he fell down 2 steps and hit his right shoulder (and more than likely his head) on the steps. I thought it looked like it hurt, but he continued running down the rest of the steps with no yelp or cry coming from him. Thursday after work, my husband and I noticed that his right ear looked like it was "falling off" his head. It looks like that if he has something…

Puppy pictures

I found baby pictures!! Well make that puppy pictures. I was about to get rid of an old camera I was sure was broken. Instead I put new batteries in it and with some playing around got it to work. There are so many adorable puppy pictures of Tucker on it!! THRILLED! I thought that all of his puppy pics except for 2 were lost forever when our old computer bit the dust.

Now if I can only find something that will read a very large old usb cord I will share them.

St Patrick - The most celebrated Welshman in America?

So you thought the day belonged to the Irish Wolfhounds and the Irish Terriers?  Did you know the St Patrick was born in Britain and some historians believe his actual birthplace was Wales?

The St. Patrick's Day custom arrived in America in 1737, that being the first year it was publicly celebrated in Boston. Most Americans, and other folk across the world, assume that Patrick was Irish: not so, many scholars believe he was Welshman!

Patrick (Patricius or Padrig) was born…

Who looks after our Dogs after we are gone!.

Hi All,

I was asked by a mycorgi.com member where did my Blog go that I wrote saying who looks after our dogs after we are gone?. I got quite a few  responses to it all positive!. I deleted it due to maybe too much personal information so here is a revised edition!.

My Question to all pet owners!

We all deal with the loss of a beloved pet or pets!. But what about the pets we leave behind? Who speaks for them? as they can't speak for…

Riding in the car...

We have a crazy work schedule. And the kid FINALLY got a job!! (hooray). So I try to make the time we have with Gwen the  best. I want her to be able to go for rides in the car.

I also want her restrained for everyone's safety. Her crate I  believe would be too big for either of our cars.

I was looking online for options. What brand/type do you all use??

Thanks!!

Kat :)
