I am so upset! I took my 7 month old pup, Kipper, to the dog park today. It was a fenced off area that was separated into small/big dog area and she was in the small dog area. At first she had a ton of fun, then all of a sudden, from the corner of my eye, I saw two children inside the park. One was a boy about 5 years old and the other was a little girl around 3. Since Kipper is still a pup and also because she loves children, she gets extremely excited and jumps on the girl. The girl begans to…

Sally healed really well from the spay, but now is sick with a virus. She probably picked it up from the dog park. She did have diarrhea, but now seems constipated and won't go poo at all. We've already seen the vet, but I'll probably call tomorrow if she doesn't regulate soon!
Other than that, she seems corgi happy

A friend of the family had some German Shepherd puppies and they gave one to my mother.
Her name is Ripley Van Winkle, I named her because I didn't want the pup to suffer through my mother's horrible dog names. It is a reference to the Hellsing anime.
She is already almost as big as Wynstan at 8 weeks, and I am extremely glad they get along together extremely well. Of course he barked at her for quite some time, but soon realize she would want to play. They go nonstop…

Well, today is a big day. Today we have officially become involved in the rescue group from whom we got Ren.
We picked up a rescue corgi from a gentleman who had flown him from Albuquerque to Las Cruces. His name is Fred and he will be staying with us for a while. The gentleman who flew him down expressed some intrest in adopting him. Hopefully things will work out. Until then, he will be residing with our pack.
He is a nice, older corgi gentelmen who seems to…

I just watched the dog (owned by my neighbour directly across the street) wander over to their next-door neighbours front yard, take a big dump, and then wander over to a vehicle parked on the street and start chewing on the bumper. All the while (obviously) being completely unsupervised. He wandered around in the street for about 30 seconds before meandering back to their backyard.…

I just added a 3rd corgi to my brood. A precious little red and white boy that I named Murphy. Murphy came from rescue because he had to have his left front leg amputated due to a birth defect called amniotic band. He is 10 weeks now and the happiest little puppy you would ever meet. His little nub wags so much!! What a joy he is to our house. How anyone could just throw away such a happy puppy just because of a leg is beyond my comprehension. I am blessed to have him as part of our family. He…

I am sad :-( Quin was spayed today.
She is so pitiful, I think she just can't get comfortable. Every time she sees me she gets up and moves, She acts like I am the one that did this to her, poor baby. I can give her a pain pill in alittle bit, the vets office said this evening after we are sure she isn't going to throw it up. So I guess she should eat alittle she did drink water and every thing is fine and she went out side to pee so i know she is fine it is just she looks so…

Its been a long time since I have posted anything on here. We just got a "nanny" cam and installed it to spy on our little puppy. It is quite enlightening... she really just sleeps all day. She is also one of the most restless sleepers I have ever seen. But it is very cute and it does give me a mid day boost to go spy on her.

So a week ago, I was browsing the internet and found a holland lop that needed a new home; at a price that I couldn't refuse. I have always wanted a holland lop.
This video started it all.
So I drove for an hour to the breeder's in hopes of bringing home the rabbit. I returned home with a rabbit AND a bunny. Yup...she had to show me the bunnies too. So let me introduce you to Ein and Brian's relatives.
Meet Penny. She is a 1…

I turned the hose on to see what he would do, and serves me right. He started digging and rolling in the mud. Geeze. I hosed him down and got most of the mud off him. Now he smells like wet dog, blech! He's getting a bath Monday, and nails trimmed, and coat blown out...~ Otherwise I'd chuck him in the bathtub and we'd have our first bath encounter together. Haha.…

Hey all you corgi luvers out there! I have a quick question, my mom is always asking me to walk Darla, but sometimes its not a good time to leave the house or maybe the weather isn't right. So today I tried to walk Darla on the treadmill (hope spelling is okay) and she dosen't want to do it. Does anyone out there have a corgi that walks on a treadmill? Or has any tips? If so please respond back!!!!

Wow! What a heartbreaking day yesterday was. I suppose I might be melodramatic, but this being my first time going through this... it was tough.
I dropped my guy off at the clinic at 7:15 AM yesterday morning, and picked him up a little after 4. He's been doing so great. He was chipped, snipped, and had his last two baby teeth pulled while he was…

Callie is officially 2 years old! We gave her some doggy birthday cake which she LOVED! We didn't do much for celebrating because I had sinus surgery yesterday. She was very careful and gentle with me once she noticed something was wrong. Luckily my mom is here to take Callie out and play with her since I don't feel much like playing.
Even though I just had surgery yesterday I am already feeling better and the swelling has gone down. Now I just can't wait to get the packing out of my…
