I've been away for a long time, but I've been lurking a little. Just one big annoucement, we are adding a new cardigan to the pack.
His name is Broly and we will be picking him up in early April. He is adorable, mismarked, and sweet as heck. He is also blind in his left eye, but you'd never know it by looking at him. He acts like a normal little puppy.
So tonight I notice Fynn's eye was swollen. I took some photos of his eye and will post them to show what it looks like. from what I got on line it looks like Pink eye. but I don't know for sure. I put chamomile tea compress over his left eye. I also gave him a half of benedryl tonight. We think our other dog who is 4 months old maybe stepped on him. If you know anything else please let me know. Thanks
So i forget how i found this place maybe it was me searching on how much to change my pups diet to at the end of the month
His name is Ace and he is 5 1/2 months old. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi
I got him a few months ago normal people get their pups at 8 weeks but i decided to wait.. let him get a bit mom time with his mommy i heard its good for them.
He enjoys romping around with my brothers pittbull Scrappy and loves fallowing my elderly Golden retriever…
thanks to everyone who have opened their arms to me or at least their computer! have a happy St. Patty's day and I think my Foxy will be in costum at least for a little while! All my corgi costumes have tails! It's like an alter ego! Holly
I'm currently typing with one hand because the other is busy keeping Nellie from falling off my lap. She has been very needy the past few days and always needs a lap. She's more of a couch dog now though at almost 30 lbs. then she is a chair dog. Soooo heavy, but how can you turn her down? :)
Hey guys, i'm new to this site so i'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking for advice, so correct me if i'm wrong. Around 3 months ago i picked up my brand new corgi puppy, my first dog/puppy ever :). He's almost 5 months old (he's around like 4 and 3/4ths months or something) and just LOVES to play. Anywhere I go, or my family members go, he's following. But i have a question, i'm new to dogs, and my girlfriend has a huge lab. I'm used to the body language of the big waggy tail… Continue
Ran ran (his nickname) is one today. Amazing how time goes by and how fast he has grown. Randy is a little guy, won't make his brothers size most likely. Still I think he is a beautiful Corgi and gets better looking each day. He is a momma's boy and kisses me all the time. Ran still has his cute puppy morning voice, that unfortunately Leo out grew. The boys are having some dog cake, real ice cream and bones from the butcher shop. Should be quite a party.
I haven't hiccuped in a while; it's been several months maybe? Well, I got the hiccups today and Ein got an expression of deep concern on his face. He climbed onto my lap and looked up at me, sniffing at the area where the hiccups were coming from. After a hiccup, he looked so bewildered, got off my lap, then returned to my lap again and looked up at me as if he was waiting for the next hiccup. Brian came along, sat by me, and tilted his head side to side with each hiccup that passed. This went… Continue

I was wondering if there are any other corgi out there that like the slide.I mean really like. i mean she climb all the way to the top and slides down and if i don't stop her she could be at the playground sliding all day.Of course she has no share the slide with the children concept. i think my corgi is the only crazy corgi that does this but maybe out there somewhere there is another one that likes to feel the wind in the face kinda of feeling. well it not really… Continue
Mattel has jumped the shark and started selling Puppy Tweet. Yes, it is a gadget that enables your Corgi to tweet on what he is doing. Whether it is a good idea it remains to be seen. I am going to set up a tweeter account for Yoda and follow him on Tweeter, he will be telling me how hungry he is every 2 minutes!
Any thoughts? It is around 29.99, so I bet many dog owner is going to pick…
I saw a commercial online for Kraft cheese, with the tagline in the title. I briefly caught a glimpse of two dogs, and thought, "CORGI!!!!!".
Upon further examination, I can't tell if it's a corgi or not. Its legs
seem a little long for a corgi, but then again, it IS dressed up in a costume. I wasn't able to find this commercial on Youtube, so I watched it again (for the dogs! :P) and took a screen shot. What do you guys think? Maybe a mix, or something like the dog on Mad About… Continue
At the dog park today was the cutest little corgi. After a little discussion with her owner, we realized that Goldy and his dog Ginger were sisters in their litter.
I LOVE the pic of them side by side, it's like their bodies make a heart!!!
I knew Goldy was small for a corgi, but wow, when you see another dog from the same litter, you really realize how small she is!
I visited with Waffle yesterday! Oh my goodness, he got so big. He shouldn't get any bigger, just fatter, lol. I didn't take any pictures except on my cellphone, unfortunately. He's doing really well. I ended up getting him 2 balls and an Orbee chew toy. He brought them into the ICU pen Terri set up for him. "These are mine!!" ...He moves like a snake. Lance, his brother, beamed me in the chin with his skull and now I have a bruise. That's one hard-headed corgi, arr. Anyways, I got a lot of… Continue
So, yesterday me and my boyfriend were going to do laundry. The laundry mat right up the road from us was packed so we decided that we would go to the one in the next town over and try that one. As we were driving through town, (which is very small) there was a little Jack Russell running through the road. I'm so proud of my boyfriend because I think I have been rubbing off on him. Before I could even say anything, he asked if we should pick it up. I pulled into the gas station where she ran… Continue
Lyla "graduated" into the 3rd and final level of obedience class about 4 weeks ago, and has been doing beautifully. So beautifully in fact, that we attend an Intro to Rally class the other day. I think it would be lots of fun for Lyla and I to try and since I will be going to shows with the new pup anyway, I can take one more dog and crate and do Rally with Lyla. So Lyla and I will be starting Rally classes sometime next month with the hope of competing at Brando's Memorial Day Weekend…
Our little family went off to the big dog show in Scottsdale today. We went mostly to see Gromit's breeder, Jean York (above) who had come from California for the show. We also wanted to show Jean and her husband Ed how Gromit is doing. Jean and Ed are wonderful people and utterly devoted to Corgis.…
