Becky,
This was just fantastic to watch. It brought tears to my eyes, very moving. You really captured the "eyes" of the little ones in the finale. Thank you.

Howie has officially joined our little family! He is settling in to his new home, getting to know his "big brother," and generally just being cute as can be. He is SO adventurous and bold (very different from Gus when he was little). We are thinking about renaming or nick-naming him Evil Knievil. :) Check out our little guy below:
He was so stinky when we brought him home. The first thing we did was give him a bath.…

Well they came and they left... Roxi's first visit to the grand ol' Washington DC.. She seemed to enjoy it and I'm happy since we'll be here for a little while :).
The first couple minutes they were here, she met her first other corgi besides her siblings when we first got her.. A little ball of fluff the neighbors picked up since they lost their other corgi and its sibling is about to pass away as well.. So it was interesting to watch them interact.. the puppy going nuts at the end…

Hey all! I'd just like to announce that my new puppy has arrived.. !!! =) I am so excited. The long car ride sure did tire out Bailey, but we got back in time for his first vet visit (it went well), and loads of playtime! Check out the photos (ok maybe i went too crazy on the photos) and videos on my page!

So far, we've taught Bailey how to sit, sorta. =P We gave him his first bath (it was OK except for some failed attempts at…

Certainly no pressue at all, but Emmy is entered into a local loveable pet contest being conducted on ROCpets.com, which is an animal lovers webpage for the Rochester, NY newspaper The Democrat and Chronicle, and we need some more votes to get into the top three! (We are currently in 9th place out of over 200 entries - not too shabby!)
Anyway, if you are willing, I would LOVE the support of my mycorgi friends! The link below will bring you right to her page. (You do need to register…

It is not the collar ... but the little device.
Anyone use anything like this? Have you had success? Is it really safe for our dogs?
Lincoln won't stop barking when we have him in timeout (almost to the point of eviction by our neighbors) and when we are eating dinner.
Just wondering what your thoughts are on this ....

The following is a message from Melissa
I am looking for a good home for my 1 year old male fixed Corgi named Apocalypse. We are about to move to a much smaller house and I can't give him the attention that he needs. He is up to date on all of his shots and has a microchip. I have him going to the Banfield here in Jacksonville so all he would need is an address change in their system for the microchip.
Apocalypse is a very affectionate dog who requires alot of attention.…

Ginny is a very popular girl and has made lots of friends lately. Her new friends are some neighbor girls, probably around 9 or 10 years old named Kayla and Michaela. She met them at the park and now they hang out all the time. It’s really cute. The girls come over to the house to pickup their new “friend,” Miss Ginny, and they take her to the park. Luckily, I can watch them from my house as the park is just across the street. Ginny has learned to run up the steps at the playground and then she…

As of late, Lincoln becomes really "depressed". He sits by the door and lays there ... he sits under the window and just lays there.
We take him out regularly for walks and we are constantly playing with him in the home.
It seems like when we are done playing or come in from a walk he gets in this "depressed" state. He just sits in this mood and sighs a lot.
What is it from? What can we do to help him (we can't have another dog for a playmate)?

We've had two of our Obedience/Canine Citizen classes thus far.
Yay = we didn't eat faces off and were perfect in the + dogs environment
Boo = We are SO happy there that we can't stop barking!
AHHH..STOP..BARKING.
The only thing I can do to get her to stop is cover her eyes. If she can't see it, she pretty much bails on the vocals.
Any other suggestions?
The trainer said maybe give her a gaggle here and there, but…

Today was Archie's first day with us at work. XP Not sure how he did. I downloaded some classical music to play while we were out. Hoping it would mellow him out. Did some tricks with him when we got home. I messed up when I brought him up after taking him to the bathroom. =( He started growling at a neighbor and i know I pulled him closer to me than i should have but I forgot to ignore him. Ugh. I have to remember not to react to him. It's hard, though. =/ I'm determined to get it. Practiced…

I was born on June 23rd, 2005, so I'm a big girl now - 2 1/2 years old.
Last summer I became Swedish Champion, a few weeks after my second birthday. I don't like exhibitions that much. So my dad Frodo says, that now I don't have to go any more of those. It's good enough to be a Swedish Champ.
Here's a picture of me when I became Champion:

It's me to the right.…

Got back yesterday. Over thirty hours of driving in four days - exhausting. Colorado to California and back again! XP Archie is doing pretty good. Still pulling a bit on the leash and still barking at cars & people. =( Not sure but have a feeling it's going to take a long time to break him of it. Taught him leave it, though. Still needs more practice but pretty awesome that he picked it up after just one session of training. Seems to be testing Greg out with authority but kinda accepting…

I think Rosie can tell the days of the week. She seems to sense when my days off are. She will stay in bed a little longer than a weekday, but when she wakes up she thinks it is play time. On the weekend mornings we start out with a walk then we play ball before breakfast. Every thing I do takes twice as long because she continually brings me a ball which I have to throw so she can chase it and bring it back to me to throw again. Today after chasing her big ball around the yard she had to have…

Why do names for dogs have to be so difficult?!?! Especially corgis!?!?
We're getting another corgi in April, and we can't choose a name.
It's
*a boy
*a pembroke
*and a tri-color
What are some good names???

I can't be for sure if he has lost all his baby teeth yet.
He lost a tooth (that he spit out and I knew about) as late as last week.
He seems to very mouthy this morning and has gotten a hold of almost everything that he normally wouldn't touch. Nipping seems to be his 2nd name the last couple of days.
I guess my question is - when should Lincoln be done teething? This way I can look out for and try to be prepared for his behaviors.
