Yesterday's play-date went great for the first half... I went out to Portland to see my best friend and her new beagle-lab-aussie shepherd pup. They're the same size, and immediately began wrestling and tumbling. Then she bit a gash under Eddy's eyeball! It bled into his eye, and he was squinting and wincing. We cleaned him up, but then they just kept wanting to go at each other's throats and soft spots!!! They were definately tense and resentful after the injury, and couldn't play nice any…

OMG I just realized that Taz is half a year old today. Time flies when you have corgis. He is such a moose, and he continusly (sp) cracks us up every single day with his big old satelite ears and digger paws. He has so much loose skin on him that I am too afraid to even imagine how big he is going to be. Definately not going to be as petitie as his sister since he is already almost twice as wide and maybe half inch shorter than her. I haven't weighed him recently, but I probably should so I can…

Tigger grew out of his first collar today (05-02-09) =[. I'm happy but sad, who said h could grow up so fast.
Everywhere we go people say he's the cutest puppy they've ever seen =].
Puppy socialization is going better. Tiggers pretty lazy though. once he's done checking all the other dogs out he just lays down. he's quite the character,
his ears arn't exactly UP yet but i think they're getting there. *crosses fingers*

Randy is officially home with us. YAY! So far only one mishap, Leo pushed Randy into the sidewalk and he hurt his little head..he seems fine but he really cried so I am worried sick. Will be keeping a close watch on him tonight. He is seeing the vet tomorrow so will let the vet know what happened. I did not end up getting Rowdy (well not yet anyway). Someone was coming to look at him this evening and I don't want to hog all the good Corgis. The lady…

We had suuuch a good weekend! Kyuubi is starting to sleep in the bed with us... now that hes not such a hyper wiggle worm. We also played on the trampoline together. We tried that "furminator" brush. It works sooooo good!
I am anxiously awaiting updated pics of the new puppy. I am not the most patient person in the world when I am excited! Kyuubi got new toys this weekend, he seems to like them. Oh what a good weekend.

Tears roll down my cheeks as a type this...this is hard.
Last night we found Juneaux dead. No explanation, no nothing...she's just gone. I'd had a busy day with company, and hate that I didn't take a few minutes to step outside with them. When my husband came home, he went outside and found her at the foot of my son's slide. The place she enjoyed the most, oh how she loved to run up that slide and come down with him. He was the joy in her life, and she was his.
We checked…

Finally Rambo is getting better, he don´t have stones in his pee anymore! In last month he get new food to keep the stones away. But unfortunately stones can return so we have to be careful with Rambo´s food.
But now i´m very happy that Rambo is healthy now.

Friday, May 1, 2009 I picked up my Winston from the Breedrer in NC. Love at first sight had been my thought from the week earlier when I met him. I knew instantly he was our Winston! He is a Sable like my Granddog, Brodey, but with a touch more white on his chest and nose. I think he is the most handsome Corgi EVER-does everyone feel this way about these wonderful dogs?? Winston is 5 & 1/2 months and already has figured out "Potty Outside" and "Inside the House" and comes when he is called.…

Well Jasper and I just got back on Friday from our week-long trip to Florida! We had so much fun and Jasper was so awesome in the car for 9 hours! He mostly just slept or chewed on his bone and of course we made several pit stops for potty, water and treats! He got to meet his cousins Homer (Yorkie mix), Lilly (Coonhound) and Rory (Chihuahua) and they all had a pool party! (Although I think we enjoyed it more than the pups did!) He also got to check out the beach, but there were a lot of really…

Wow it has been a long time since I have been able to sit down and upload a few pictures to the site of my corgi babies! Kirby turned 1 in Feb, he is a good boy. He will start going to 4-H obiedance classes with my daughter this week. Kirby should be great, he passed K-9 kindergarden very easy.
Tucker is my old man, he has slowed down a little in his senior years. We need to get out and walk a little more now that the weather is nice. Over the winter Tucker put on a few…

I got to go on my first camping trip this weekend. We went to Lake Corpus Christi Texas State Park. There was a huge lake that I got to go swimming with my 2 brothers and the kids. I had an awsome time in the water. After swimming we went on a hike through the woods and I saw a rabbit and a deer. My brother Rocky wanted to chase it (he's a Siberian Husky). We saw all kinds of animals that I don't see at home. I can't wait until our next camping trip I had a blast. I'm told that our next camping…

I wanted to get some opinions on the best option for leaving an 8 month old home for an extended period of time. Finn is crate trained and he sleeps in his crate and also goes in his crate when we are leaving the house. Up until now, when we were at work he would go in the crate but I would come home on my break to take him out to go potty and stretch his legs since I'm at work for 8 1/2 hours every day. My schedule is changing and Jason found a job (yay) so he won't be home with Finn all day…

Well, Vic has finally talked me into it, we're getting Kiwi a little brother. *Sigh*, I don't know what I'm getting myself into, I'm nervous about how Kiwi will react, how much our lives will change having two of these crazy animals, but Vic has reassured me that everything will be fine...
Either way, we've emailed the breeder (about a month ago) and told her that we'd be interested in a male, tri, in early July, if at all possible. She emailed us back yesterday and told us that it's…

Recently every human in the house goes out into the big white truck (with me, of course) and start going on a long drive. they are going way out the road, and to places where the snow hasn't quite melted yet. I am very suspicious of this behavior, I hope my humans are healthy! I don't want to take them to the doctors! In other news, it's been about 60 degrees and actually sunny! Theres no rain! and boy, am I getting hot!
