Being new to the corgi world I have been online (almost obsessively) researching the breed and finding out all I can about products for our new love. While searching I stubbled upon an adorable store with all sorts of leather works and thought I should share my find with the rest of the corgi lovers out there!
The design is called Nana the Corgi and I don't think I have seen anything cuter (well, anything except the real thing!). It's made by a husband and wife team in Taiwan…

I just had to share this picture with ya'll! It just showed up on my facebook feed from animal planet. At first it was just the small little icon to click on, but I recognize a furry bunny butt a mile away. How cute?!

Well, goodness, where shall I begin? There's so much going on right now! Daxter completed his first Therapy Dogs Inc. test last week and he passed with flying colors. Thank goodness the tester understood a corgi's need to bark every now and again (a couple of very hyper German Shepherds walked by and felt the need to alert Daxter of their presence, which he then replied that he was aware that they were there...haha.) Besides that little bit of barking, everything went as planned and we're on…

Dog pictured is very similar, but not the same as my mother's dog, Buddy.
So my mother owns this little Bichon that she adopted a year ago from the humane society who was a special needs dog. At the time he was 5 years old and afraid of everything. She had to sit on the ground near him (he was opposite corner from her) with her arm on the ground, limp towards…

Those of us with "real" corgis will KNOW that this must be some other breed of dog disguised as a Corgi - no self respecting Corgi would behave in such a way!!! (I wish mine would)

I will admit that I have long been jealous of looking at baby pictures, or reading what new little quirky thing that your babies are doing, or what has he chewed up today stories. But at the same time my journey with Solomon has been so full of learning, laughing and love every day. I'm not sure if I told ya'll but while in obedience training with Solomon I grew concerned because he would not drink from his own, brought from home, water bowl. When he watched me turn my frozen bottle of…

Today, we lost one of the best dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.
His name was Buddy, and he was a Golden Retriever. I’ve known him and his family since I was 13 years old—that’s a good 8 years. Before meeting him, I was deathly afraid of dogs. I was bit by a Golden when I was little; I deserved it. I was bothering her puppies. …

Hi ho, hi ho, how do the piles grow! Pat the dog and see fur flow, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho hi ho!
Hi ho, hi ho, corgis shed a lot we know, but we sweep more 'cause we love them so hi ho, hi ho, hi ho hi ho!

Corgi owners were always so kind in their remarks and advice for my little warrior. Joey went to the Rainbow Bridge today, June 1st. His autoimmune condition known as erthyma multiforme, consumed him. I adopted Joey 3 years ago and we have fought through bleeding paws, crusts and bleeding eye margins and the lethargy and depression that accompanies autoimmune conditions. A confirmed Sheltie owner, Joey opened my eyes to a whole new world of dog.....I've never owned a dog with a…
