Chesney is 10 mons old today!! I can't believe it!! Where has the time gone? I remember when she was just an itty bitty thing!! Now she is a big girl and getting into trouble at every turn! LOL Today she made a new friend! A little 10 week old black lab puppy from across the street! I'll be putting some pics up soon. We're already talking about how we are going to have to get another corgi soon lol! Can't have just one you know...hehehe. We are going to start looking for a tri colored one. I…

I am over the minor bout of new-pet blues that seems to always come with adjusting to having another puppy in the home (for me anyway).
Reagan just had his new shots and is adjusting wonderfully. He and Didi have become the best of friends. Didi is very gentle with him, though she does occasionally "yell" at him. She will let him have anything, the rawhides, the toys, her bed, her food, but if he comes within 3 feet of her kong toy she's infront of him with her best "Go Away" face on. I've…

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on Lyla since it's been a while. She turned 7 months old yesterday and is getting so big! Over 17 pounds now! She is still lacking many "Corgi" traits I have been expecting to kick in any day. She is NOT food motivated, she doesn't even finish her meals most of them time, and when she does, she acts like it's a chore. Silly Corgi. She is also still really laid back and almost never rambunctious. When she's outside she is a hyper little dog, but as…

I emailed the breeder I got Tucker from and asked her to keep my in mind if she has any tri females in upcoming litters. I figured maybe 6 months down the road I'd hear from her about it - but she has one now! She had only one tri in her recent litter of 8 and of course it's a female- and she's not spoken for. She'll be ready to go in 6-7 weeks. Not sure I'm ready for another one just yet.. I feel like things are pretty perfect the way they are with my cats/dog and I am afraid of upsetting the…

On June 1st my hubby and I found out some very exciting news...we found out we were expecting our first child! Our due date is February 9th 2010. Once I hit about the 2 month mark of pregnancy Chloe started being a lot more cuddly with me. She was a little bit before the pregnancy, but now she seeks me out and stays near me for much longer than she used to. She's a little bit more mature now (her 1st birthday was May 21st) so I can't really tell if she's being more of a snuggle puppy because…

To everyone who welcomed us, I just wanted to say thank you and I am very excited to be here! I hope to post pictures of Bella and her siblings soon. I was disappointed that we weren't able to attend the last Corgi meetup in Fort Collins and eagerly await the next one.

Well, two weeks ago last night I brought Dooley to my home for fostering until placement in an adoption rescue. I can't believe I actually had to look at the calendar to see how long ago it was -- it feels as if he's been a part of my family all his life!
Of course there are little spats with the others, but they don't last long. Dooley rarely instigates or joins in when one of my others is in a bad mood. He'd rather walk away a few feet, turn around and smile! Poof! Situation…

Our little man and best bud-bear has turned 4! It seems just like yesterday that we brought our little guy home. He has brought such laughs and love to our lives and we just can't imagine not having him around. So to our bud-bear, Tucker, may you have the happiest of days.
Here is Tucker celebrating with his favorite treat -- Ice Cream and a ride in the Jeep with the top down. (No worries fellow Corgi fans, the Jeep was parked when the picture was taken. Like could parents we strap…

Another new endeavor! Well, not totally new. We did start tracking a little last year but weren't able to devote enough time to it so we dropped from the group. But this year we're committed. Maybe in more ways than one! We'd been tracking for a couple of weeks and I thought Dudley was doing well. But then we tracked with a group and things were totally different! My remedial student came out and showed himself! When we track alone, Dudley does very well. He usually goes right down the track…
