We went to Wilkes-Barre for the 4th of July to hang out with our friend and his fiancee. Murphy was excellent the entire time in the car. I held him on my lap the entire way there which is always a chore, but he slept most of the time anyway. Our little Murphy had one of the biggest and most important vet appointments of his life on Friday. We really didn't want him to have to stay overnight, but they wanted him to so what choice did we have and we also wanted to be sure that he would return to us with a clean bill of health. Murphy just keeps getting bigger and bigger. He weighs more than Stella now and his face has changed since he became a part of our family way back in February. Wow, it's just so hard to believe that's how long ago we got him. It kind of makes me sad, but I'm glad he's growing and that he's healthy. Well, lately I've noticed that Murphy's collar is feeling a little snug and that he seems to be growing out of it, so I got out his bigger one that we bought before we got him. It's still a bit too big, but yesterday I let him him wear it for a short time just to see what would happen and he hated it.
