Rescue corgi X

Hello!

I'm new here :-) just adopted Oliver from a rescue a month ago. He's a corgi x with I'm not sure what!

@Beth. Thanks for catching my mistake. I spoke too soon. My experience is with Chondrodysplasia in Malamutes, where the breed club took steps to eradicate it. In Malamutes dwarfism is a simple recessive. After your comment, I looked for specific info on Corgis, maybe from the breed club on mode of inheritance. The closest I came to that is this general article:

and now I may know even less than I thought I knew before :-DD

He surely has a nice mastiff-ish look about him. Genetics is over the English-major head, but I wonder if he could have some other dwarfish dog in him rather than a corgi, such as, say, dachshund or skye terrier or even a beagle? He's kinda cool-looking!

He looks part handsome and mostly adorable to me. I can see why you would want to know what he is mixed with since he is so unique. The picture makes me want to pick him up and squeeze him. Congratulations. I adopted a corgi mix several months ago. It is so much fun getting to know each other.
