Ok...I give up is it that she is feeling comfortable in her pen even with the door open or that she's leaving the cat alone or both?

First off, I LOVE IT!

Second, I bet the cat has realized that the doggie is calm and peaceful when inside the pen, so what better place to hang out with said doggie?

Third, the cat is no dummie, life is goooood inside the pen, comfy pillows, water.

Aww too cute! Sky and the kitty did the reverse during his confinement. He and the cat are normal bff, but when he was stuck in the crate he would growl at her every time she laid by the crate. =\
