Rowdy is now a little over 2 years old. He is amazing and full of every stubborn little corgi quirk which I find endearing and lovable. The last couple months, however, he has been exhibiting some…Continue

Hey everyone... I've been reading many of the threads about dog food brands/yucky poos/switching to adult food/etc and just want some specific opinions on what I've gathered. Rowdy's going to be a…Continue

Hey all,
Rowdy has recently been having major eye goopies, and I wonder what it's from. They aren't really any particular color that would make me thing anything is wrong... but it's been rather windy this last week and my allergies have been going haywire... could that be what his are from?
I usually just wipe them away with a damp cloth... that's ok right?
Any information will be greatly appreciated :)

I just heard some sad news today that one of my family members lost her beloved Jack Russell, Bandit, today. He went in on Monday for some blood tests and he had cirrhosis of the liver and had to be put down.
My heart breaks for Gramma Linda. Bandit was her baby and was so well cared for and loved. He always smelled like baby powder and was so squeaky clean all the time :) I wish I had a picture of him. He was an adorable grey wire haired jack russell that was pretty small…

I hurt my neck and caused a spasm in my back earlier this week, so my one weekend off this month was sort of ruined for me and my boy. He desperately needed a bath and I couldn't do it. We went to our Petsmart for a grooming trip (his 2nd one ever) and it went SO WELL! He did great on his first one, but he's definitely becoming "all boy" the last week or so (the neuter appointment is in 2 weeks) therefore I had my little worries.
When we (the lady and I) were filling out his…

Hi Kayla and Rowdy-
Thanks for the welcome. Rascal certainly is fluffy - he reminds me of my sweet pomeranian that we had years ago. That dog was an angel and Rascal may just be following in his footsteps - he is very sweet. We only have him a week but it seems longer because we love having him with us. We have our own business so he comes to work with us. My daugher-in-law and son have Rascals brother Mac - he is not a fluffy so it is easy to tell them apart. They play everyday - they love to be with each other. I look forward to reading your comments since you have a baby Corgi too.
So glad Rowdy likes the box! Jack adored shredding them and when he got to be a few months old, it was fun to give him a whole one and watch him fight with it. Just make sure Rowdy doesn't eat the pieces!
Jack also liked chasing empty water bottles or those souvenir cups you get from sports events and the like; he would push them with his nose and run after them growling, then flip them in the air.
