I think the people are trying to kill me. They put the dumb one and me outside. Something about having to leave for a little while, and not wanting to find the bed chewed up again. Whatever. They just want to see me wilt in the staggering heat of sunset. Dante doesn't seem to care, but I think he may be a bit simple-minded. The people can just leave me out here, then. It will give me plenty of time to plot my revenge. If I don't succumb to the elements first. (Seriously, don't they realize…Continue
This is like a milestone...for me at least (not the dog for he could care less). I just set up a twitter for Napolean! Haha. Not much, I know, but this is like the first step into the social media circle for us. Right now our only participation in the social network is a youtube page and of course, mycorgi! Well, just blogging about it now. If anyone wants to follow us on Twitter we will follow you back :) Thanks!

Today (Well yesterday but I like to celebrate the dogs' birthday on other holidays so they are easy to remember. The two-legged kids won't let me do that.) is Logan's first birthday! The carrot/peanut butter cake is made and he might get a trip to Petsmart later. Look for more pictures…Continue
Well I've officially had Zorro for three days now and he is just wonderful! There are the normal puppy problems, but other than that he is such a great dog! The first night when we initially put him in his cage he didn't cry, then woke us up at 2:30am. I brought him outside to go potty and when I tried to put him back in his kennel he started crying. I let him out and he fell asleep on the floor next to me and then I put him in his kennel and he whined a little bit, then went to sleep.…Continue
Thought it was cute and you guys would enjoy it :)
Since Chris and I are horrible at making definate decisions we decided to have Chase pick our wedding date for us!!!
Yes, we left this decision to our 7 month old Corgi. :)
How? You may ask...
Chris and I narrowed it down to the end of May 2013- beginning of June 2013. We wrote those dates down on a piece of paper, tore it into smaller pieces and folded…

Done streaming for now. I did record what I did in case you are curious what you missed.
I will be periodically streaming there. So feel free to check by every once in a while.

WOW! What a difference a couple of days make!
Yesterday morning, Jack didn't want much to do with Felix. Felix wanted to play so badly, but Jack would just growl when he got close and moved away from him. After lunch, I went out to run a few errands (mainly getting more doggie supplies!). When I returned, they were both really excited to see me, and all of Felix's jumping around suddenly inspired Jack to play! They ran around together for several minutes - Jack LOVES…Continue

Happy 7 month anniversary of me having Poppy in my life! I meant to write last month on the 6th, but I was swamped at work and things weren't going to well at hone, so I wanted to wait until it past before updating.
Daycare: I no longer take Poppy to the cheap-on-Tuesdays daycare. On the 3rd week, when I came to pick her up, I always take a look in the pen to see what she is up to before she can see me and I get her. She was curled up in the corner "sleeping" with a cute beagle like…Continue
One of the Groupon deals today in Atlanta is 16X20 gallery-wrapped retro art print from Imagekind. One of the prints is called "Corgi Coffee." To the see selection scroll down to the bottom of the "what you get" box.
These are pretty cute but I just got the bill for framing my latest corgi art purchases and I have been cute off. Enjoy!

Camden was thrilled to be at the vet as usual. And no, that is not sarcasm, he really does love going to the vet. In his excitement, Camden actually forgot about his leg. He was pulling on his leash as hard as he could. Once we got him calmed down, the doctor did a physical exam. Camden was quiet all the way through it until the doctor made him spread eagle. He didn't like that much. We also got some x-rays.
Thankfully, Camden has no damage to his ACL or ligaments. His hips and joints…Continue
Yesterday Joe, my parents, and I drove a little over three and a half hours to pick up Zorro (and as my parents like to say their first grandson from me). When we got there we were immediately greeted by two sweet corgis. It turns out the adult in the picture I posted with the puppies a few days ago is actually his brother. He is such a nice dog! When I was trying to look at the puppies he kept trying to get under my arms so I could pet him. The father his a nice little RHT and the mother…Continue
So, in the last month Camden has celebrated his first birthday, came down with some sort of eye infection that the doctor could not figure out, but the meds did fix the problem. I thought everything would be good to go until September for his yearly vaccinations... Guess not.
My poor puppy started limping late Thursday night. I checked his rear left leg, and he showed no signs of pain on contact. I restricted his movement through the weekend, and he was recovering when I took…Continue
After having Kabu since November 2011, the family finally met him this past weekend. With that, all I have to say is that, "its not family, with out any drama"
So I carried Kabu's crate like how a parent would carry a car set into a house.
First reaction, "AHHHH!! A DOG!" from a six year old child... I was getting worried. But it was just out of pure excitement.
I took Kabu out of his crate and outside in the backyard to play with the kids. …Continue
Today is our 2nd full day at home with Felix and Jack. Jack seems to be getting a little more comfortable all the time, and we have had no fights in more than 24 hours - a really good sign! We have continued feeding them in separate locations. Jack had been refusing food, but FINALLY, he ate last night! After some coaxing, he ate again this morning, but he still seems to wait until Felix finishes first. Even though they are on opposite ends of the house, he can hear when Felix is eating…Continue

"Should we get a metal crate or a plastic one?
If people ask before they buy a crate, I suggest getting the molded-plastic, travel-style item rather than the metal cage-type, for several reasons:
1 - Plastic crates come in a larger variety of sizes;
2 - They're much less expensive (so buying two to accommodate your growing pup isn't an economic hardship);
3 - They're easier to take apart and clean.
4 - They're much lighter, so they're…Continue
"After we put the dogs in the kitchen at bedtime, we heard a noise. We got up to find Annie prying at the bottom of the (baby) gate with her nose. Remember, we had the single latch near the top of the gate - which left some "give" at the bottom. Annie had figured this out. With a little experimentation, she found she could move the bottom corner enough to squeeze through and escape.
Ah-ha! Now that we knew her secret, how hard could it be to foil her strategy? The obvious solution was…Continue
