Have you ever had a problem with a neighbor’s cats? How was it resolved? Or was it?
For a book on cats, a friend and I are looking for reports about issues related to cats allowed to run free. Please tell us your story. What was the problem? Did any property damage occur (to your yard, your home, your car, or whatnot)? Did any…

My heart leapt straight into my throat this morning when I walked into the backyard and found the back gate hanging open.
It was coming onto noon. The dogs (and incidentally, I) had been up since dawn. I hadn't been out in the alley earlier, so that meant the gate must have been open all night. Ruby has a dog door, but on a gorgeous day like today, the doors to the kitchen, the family room, and the garage were all standing open. I'd had breakfast on the backyard patio, accompanied by…

Hello,
After we lost our 1 year old Pemmy in a traffic accident, which we were OBVIOUSLY heartbroken from, we decided to get another puppy. We loved Pemmy so so so much and she made our lifes complete. The house is empty and quiet now. A house is not a home without a dog, without a corgi!
So here's the new pup we will be adopting in 2 to 3 weeks. She's a cardigan and not a Pembroke. The breeder tells us she will be a blonde, not a deep red one like her mother…

So I visited my mother this weekend and when I went to bed Friday night I had a one eared puppy.
That left ear has NEVER stood up!
Well...once I woke up Saturday morning I was greeted with a puppy flaunting TWO fully functioning ears.…

Good Morning! I have taken in a Corgi Pup Named Frankie who is now 12 weeks old and doing great. He came to me very ill but has made a 100% turnaround. I originally thought he was going to be red but as started to change color like I know Corgis do. He is getting a mask so he is a Sable more than likely right?? SO wanted him to be Red but he has black hairs all over now so I assume Sable. He is just the smartest pup! My other two are very boned to each other so I am hoping he turns…

It is night-time. Cassie the Corgi and Ruby the (former) Corgi Pup have been lifted onto the bed. The Human has turned on the electric throw (about a third the size of a blanket) and has crawled under it and is either reading a book or tapping away at the computer. Cassie has staked out her territory just south of an unoccupied pillow near the head of the bed, her rear end…

My Corgi, Scout, makes me laugh all the time. Today we had a good laugh as he "refused" to leave the park. You can watch it below. lol
Does anyone else's Corgi do this? He does it once in a while.

Watson turned two on Sunday. He is still very much a puppy. Every day is a party to him, he is just looking to have a good time. Training is going slowly because he gets distracted easily but he is very funny. So loving my goofy boy and looking forward to our year…

In January of 2011 I made this post - http://mycorgi.com/forum/topics/sunnyd-needs-elbow-surgery-fcp. We went through with the surgery and everything has been great since then - until Saturday. We noted SunnyD limping and then she refused to walk. After several hours we took her to the vet and they did xrays. Nothing stood out though there was some evidence of arthritis. This was Saturday and we figured we…

Does your corgi vocalize in exotic and interesting ways? Cassie, who was found at the dog pound under a sign reading "BARKS," expresses herself almost exclusively in loud yaps, which is OK because no one is around to be disturbed except me, and I find her so adorable that most of the time her barking doesn't pose much of a problem.
On the other hand, Ruby the Corgi Pup appears to be a multilingual dog. She is the most amazing little talker! She has a wide range of…

We had a great time at the corgi picnic. It was so much fun watching over 200 corgis running, playing and barking all over the place! Watson had a great time socializing and so did i. Reconnected with Laurie, Roger and Chepstow there and met Judy Lundberg all…

The breeder just said his coat will be a tad longer, but nothing about being a fluffy. What qualifies as a fluffy? I suppose it's harder to tell because he is only 14.5 weeks old and still has his puppy coat. I am just curious, but either way, I love my little handsome boy! …

I can't stand it. Google hates this, but I wish so intensely to bite the neighbors that I'm reproducing a post that just went live at my regular blog, Funny about Money. Et allez-vous faire fou*re, Google!

Ruby and Cassie are up and ready to go by 6 a.m. Normally, we would avoid the park on Sunday morning, because gaggles of…
