It's been one of those days BUT has turned out very well! Yea! Rosie is home with us at last. Some of you know I was getting calls from a woman that bought a puppy from me last April but she kept wanting to keep her even though she was frustrated (as I'm sure the dog was too living in an apartment with only very short walks and a child with ADHD). Today she called and ask if I would still "buy" her back and I said yes! So after working 11 hours I drove another 2hours to pick her up and then 3…

Livvy is still "hanging" in there but preferring more time away from the other 4 legged household members maybe it's due to her being almost as wide as she is long! I don't know what to expect as this will be her 1st litter...but we are ready and waiting!

We just had to go see our grandson one last time before the pups are due!
Livvy loves to travel and loves people, since she will be busy for the next few months...I thought it was only fair for her to get a short "vacation" before raising her own corgi crew! She is beginning to look as wide as she is long!

We get to celebrate a special full moon this year!
Happy New Year to all! We will be staying cozy and warm at home for the next few days as the temperatures dive down below zero and even the daytime temps will be that cold! BRRRRR!

Well, the dogs all loved it!
Unfortunately we were snowed in from Wed. till late this afternoon...that's a little long and we didn't get to see any family or friends. I guess it was the hardest today because it's my grandson's 2nd birthday! They are predicting another storm for New Years...oh well, it is winter in Minnesota! This is the worst holiday storm I have seen in 25…

I have been wanting to start feeding my dogs a raw diet a couple times a week! This am I let my dogs out as usual and Wiley and Wynn decided to sneak through the fence and pursue their own raw diet! Poor bunny! They were very proud of their prey but there wasn't much left and I'm not looking forward to the after effects either! Oh well they sure enjoyed the fresh meat! I will give them their heartworm pill tomorrow! I'm sure Bella was bummed as she is my rabbit dog and watches them out my…

We practiced this last night and I still had to pull/push my Aussie out the door this am. The Corgis went out one time and now they just look at me like I'm crazy!
It could be that any door I open I have to hang onto with both hands so it doesn't blow wide open!

I just read about Maddie and Jack and I had just got done cleaning up dog vomit (cat poop) off my leather car seats and clean blanket that I just put in yesterday! Bella must have gone all over while I was at work(she was with me) and took delicacies out of each cat box and puked about 60 second after getting in the car!!! Then when we got home Armani my Aussie who was also with dragged his leash through this mess spreading it even further so it dropped onto the floor and frame! Guess I should…

I know it's not something I should get excited about but I am! I received a call today from a nearby humane society that has 2 Corgis being surrendered on Fri. These are retired breeding Corgis and are 4 years old soooo I am happy to be able to help one of them start their new life as a family pet! So in a couple months I hope to be posting a "home wanted" for which ever young lady I get!

We all know most of our Corgis love to eat but Wynn outdid himself at our doggie/coffee party this am. We were at a friends house and she of coarse has 3 containers of treats sitting by the door for our dogs so enjoy. Wynn, Mr. Pig himself helped himself to about 4 large peanut butter bones. I took them away and he started on the 2nd bowl of bones so I took them away and then he went to their dog dishes (all 3) and ate some out of these! I'm waiting for him to throw up! He's laying on the floor…

This has been a long week. Tues am I had my dogs out as usual I sent my Aussie out 1st to monitor the area and then my 5 corgis go out shortly after this. It was still dark and I went to check on them and as I opened the door I could hear coyotes very close (maybe right outside our 5 acres). I yelled for my husband to turn on the lights as I flew out the door to collect the dogs! All were safe but this was way to close so I spent the balance of the day putting a 30'X30' fence up connected to…

This am Livvy decided to use my 1/2 wall as a balance beam. She has done things like this before. Does anyone else have a dog that climbs into or onto strange places? Occasionally one of my others make climb on the table but Livvy tries things like this quite often.

We met with the main instructor for agility today as they want to meet and see the dog, make sure they know the basic commands and that they're not dog aggressive. Livvy passed in about 5 minutes and the instructor commented on how people friendly she was! We watched about 5 other corgis run the coarse so that was fun. Livvy liked the100+ people but doesn't care for that many dogs but she managed. This is a dog that sat under my chair for the 1st…
