Last night Ash had her puppies, after 14 hours of labor and lots of coffee, we got 5 adorable little girls! 2 red and white and 3 tris. they are so cute!! We took them to the vet and he said they were fat and very healthy. Ash did so great, she cares for the babies well and has lots of milk.
I have been feeding both parents a raw diet for a few months now, what a difference it has made in there health. I believe it had a lot to do with the puppies good health as well. they will also…

I just noticed a penny sized lump on the right side of Jack's stomach. It's under the skin, and it seems like it hurts him when it's touched.
We're going to take him to the vet hopefully tomorrow and let them look at it.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? My grandmother has jumped to conclusions already and is afraid it could be cancer. I just would like to put her at ease.
Thanks!

I posted a few entries back that I'm adopting a 1yr old female Pembroke from the animal shelter. Well, this was her first day home. She was very groggy from being sedated for spay surgery. She wasn't her usual spritely hyper self, but she was still very loving. She did snap at my 4yr old Faye when she passed by. I was so surprised that Faye was so well-behaved. I praised her and pet them both at the same time. Katamari stole Faye's bed hahaha so sad.…

Emmett is a handsome boy from Fort Myers, he is a quiet guy and have been well traveled for the last couple of days. Thanks to Maggi who busted him out of the shelter, followed by spending a night at
Mike's on Thursday, he was then transported to central Florida and stayed at Kelly's on Friday and now he's finally here with me on the east coast.
Emmett will be spending the next couple…

Le-Le has now make her official debut in Country Living Magazine. She is on page 117 and again on 118. We photographed our house for CL and I wrote about her experience back in March. Always fun to see a corgi in print!

I live in Australia. It is extremely rare that I see a Corgi these days. Is it because they are 'out of fashion'? Years ago, the Afghan Hound was the 'in' dog to have. These days you very rarely see an Afghan Hound. I think it is a shame when a dog breed is used as a fashion statement. I think the Corgi is best know as the Queen's dogs. By what I have seen there appears to be more Corgis in the USA than here in Australia. Any idea why they would be so rare these days?

I've been wanting so bad to get Pooka to the beach, and was hoping to do it before she turned 6 months so she would adjust to it easier. Turns out we got down there the day after her 6 month mark, and I had nothing to worry about. For you see,
Pooka is a beach dog.
I am a beach girl, so I am very pleased. One of my favorite activities is digging holes in the sand at the beach, and ever since Pooka got…

The PM gave Mr Obama a jokey tip about his imminent meeting with the Queen, saying: “Watch for the corgis.”

Jack is shedding his Winter coat, and there's little tiny tuffs everywhere! There's enough to make another dog..
I was wondering where I should take him to get clipped. Or if I should shave him?
What do you guys think?

Hi everyone! I joined a while ago, but I'm just now posting a blog. I really love corgis but unfortunately my husband and I aren't ready financially to have a dog. Anyway, enough of the sad stuff. Since I don't have pictures of a real corgi to contribute, I thought I'd share a picture I drew today. It's not colored yet, and still a little rough in some parts but I really tried hard so far. I'm pretty much self taught.... It's supposed to be me and my possible future corgi playing in the snow in…
